Addiction doesn't discriminate, you can be a garbage man or a Arabic prince . You don't know what the future holds for you or siblings and possible children. It's a horrible grimey world we inhabit for the most part, who knows how some people choose to deal with it or not to deal with it.

If you suffered serious neglect/abuse wether it's emotional or physical as a child it doesn't take to long to get addicted . He said he used twice and was addicted he not have been physically craving heroin but quite possibly he very well may have an emotional attachment to the painkiller. This is possible after the first use, it's a while now but I would say it took me maybe a little less than a month to be completely strung out and that lasted for years . Even now I have to be extremely careful not to put myself in a situation .
