Hi EM, it's a generic Digital Bow Scale. It's mainly used to determine the maximum draw weight (basically, how hard (in terms of weight) you can pull the string of a bow prior to releasing the arrow). There are more expensive branded ones out there, but since I do not shoot arrows, I couldn't justify purchasing a branded one. I hope this helps.
