    Nice video. Although we just bought a variable Allstar rotator and mounted it to a frame we built i respect your ingenuity and you one uped us with the 3 point legs, our four can get rocky on uneven ground. And I used 1" square tubing and it is a little bouncy. So many things to learn dirt racing. Thanks for the vid!

      Racing is expensive thats for sure. Just gas prices alone is slowing us down some this year even with the sponsorship help. That said, store bought shop equipment is a luxury I can't afford this year so I improvise.

    I sent you a photo of mine on FB, however it’s a bit fast despite using a gear reduction motor. I do have a foot pedal to start and stop mine. Since we can only buff tires it’s not as big of issue. I agree I’ve been asked to build them, however I explain after we purchased the parts, plus charge a fair price, buying a commercial one.

      You can weld on engine blocks with no wearies I've done it on my own race blocks that have gotten bloke along the pan rell. I did think it was possible but he said all you have to do to make sure you do not pull the line bore out is to lay a bear skin hand next to were you are welding and when you can not stand the heat of it you stop till it's is to were you can be comfortable and continue.

    • @DIRTRACELIFE
      @DIRTRACELIFE  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you found this video useful sir. I am using a 1/50 ratio on the gear train for the motor assembly and then a 34 tooth sprocket and 11 tooth drive for an 11/34 ratio on the chain. The total ratio is found by multiplying these two together and you come out with a 6/1000 ratio (0.00647058 tire revolutions per 1 revolution of the motor)
      I have links to every part I used on my website at www.dirtracelife.com so just check it out for more details
