    I just found you two, and you're adorable! Thank you for this video. We're (my husband and me) are flying to Florida but this'll be my first time using packing cubes. This was super helpful!

    Packing cubes have been a game-changer for me. I was amazed how much I could get into one cube. In one medium cube I had everything for 3-4 days. 3 leggings, 3 light tunics, 1 long, light cardigan, 1 dress, underwear, a bralette, 3 pairs socks, and 1 sleepshirt.

    I like to fold my clothes konmari style and "file" them in the packing cubes, it works really well!

    Hey I love your organization videos. Unfortunately for me there is no time to use packing cubes because they arive 1 week after I am back so to late is there an easy organized way to keep my clothes in my small suitcase?

    • @PracticallyPerfect
      @PracticallyPerfect  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We would definitely advise file-folding your clothes - it will make it easier to see what you have and not have to pull additional items out to access what you need.
      If you really want to divide + group your items, you can also re-use any bags you might already have on hand, until your packing cubes come in.

      Thank you! Do you have any tips on organizing your suit case with shoes and such? They just seem to take up so much space.

    • @PracticallyPerfect
      @PracticallyPerfect  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shoes can be tricky - placing them at the bottom of the suitcase heel to toe, with the soles facing out (the way they come in shoe boxes) helps give them a slimmer profile.

    hello, I’m going on holiday tomorrow do you think you could tell me what’s the best way to pack all my stuff? wasn’t sure if rolling or folding but don’t want my clothes too creased

    • @instamelabbyy8813
      @instamelabbyy8813 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mia Ullson PLEASE READ ITS AN EMERGENCY:
      So this have noting to do with this vid but does anyone know do I need to put my toiletries in a clear bag or no bc I have a normal pink bag I use and I want to put all my lotions Shampoos etc in there but can I? I am taking a carry on luggage so?? I was thinking of putting my bag in my moms medium size luggage or will she still get caught and need to throw it away. Question is do I need to use a clear bag for all of my toiletries in a carry on luggage?

    • @PracticallyPerfect
      @PracticallyPerfect  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mia, I'm sorry we missed this before your holiday. It does depend on the fabric, and the way you pack it into your bag. We recommend trying out a few options to see what you like best. If you choose to fold, just be sure to fold along the natural creases as much as possible, and if you roll, consider rolling items with a protective layer (like tissue, dry cleaner bags, etc.) to help reduce wrinkling.

    Does these work well for us in a small backpack..... I'm using economy airlines and just wanted to know?

    • @PracticallyPerfect
      @PracticallyPerfect  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Kenni! We think these are great for backpacks - one of our team members travels by backpack when she flies and loves them. They create extra room and just help contain and segment your items.

    Do you put the worn clothes right back into the cubes? Or do you just stuff them directly into the suitcase after you have worn them?
    Are the cubes washable?

    • @PracticallyPerfect
      @PracticallyPerfect  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Verena! Generally we recommend packing a slim, foldable laundry bag, to help collect your dirty clothes once you get settled. Or you can dedicate a packing cube to those clothes, once it's empty. The packing cubes are washable, they just require a line dry!

      @counterfit5 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are also double sided cubes that have clean and dirty sides

  • @brittany_tabb

    Do these prevent wrinkling of clothes?

    • @PracticallyPerfect
      @PracticallyPerfect  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does for a number of fabric types! But natural fibers definitely wrinkle more easily, so using tissue paper (or a file fold, to limit the number of lines/wrinkles) may be better depending on the items.
      But we love this tip for the space saving hack the most!

    • @PracticallyPerfect

      You caught us! :)
      We normally do this on the bed, but it's a little bit awkward to film it that way -- hopefully you'll forgive us for using the floor!

      Practically Perfect Then why not lay a clean sheet or drop cloth on the floor to work on.

    This was not helpful at all. Lots of blah, blah, blah, then you showed how to fold/roll 3 items, then went into the high speed fast forward that doesn't explain anything. So, I still don't know how to properly use packing cubes in a suitcase.

  • @tailorednets8664

    How can these women even think of rolling their close on the floor? Are you kidding me?

    • @PracticallyPerfect
      @PracticallyPerfect  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi there! Great question - we normally do our packing and folding/rolling on the bed when we travel, but it just wasn't conducive for filming. We hope you'll forgive the floor packing!
