Kate Bush sits among those beautiful souls on the earth that heal, they are from all walks of life, we pass them on the street. A complex song on many spiritual levels. I love that last lyric " You might not, not think so now, but just you wait and see, someone will come to help you "
You are so right . I have often said the how dull the music industry would be without Kate Bush but I grew up with her music and can not imagine a world without her.
Moments of Pleasure is a must. I think you two will really like this song. Very emotional and beautiful tributes to people she loved and lost….and a great message for us all to boot….
❤ Whenever you react to Kate Bush, I just can't stop smiling. I know she will capture something special deep inside each of us, always. Aurora has that same beautiful quality.
Kate Bush an incredible talent, a few songs you might want to check out, Cloudbusting ( if you watch official video you may spot a Hollywood star ) , Breathing will make you think as will Experiment IV , This womans work , The sensual world, Moments of pleasure, Hello Earth to name but a few.
She’s such a brilliant person I love her music . Rockets tail is maybe the song with the hardest drop pure magic, thanks for the great reaction I really enjoy your videos
Hi and thanks for a really enjoyable reaction video. This song was part of Kate Bush's 1989 album 'The Sensual World.' She worked with David Gilmour on a number of her songs and they are all very interesting. But there is one of those Kate Bush/David Gilmour songs that for me stands head and shoulders above all the others. It is also on that 1989 'The Sensual World' album and is called 'Rocket's Tail.' In it Kate brings her own wonderful singing voice, and joins it together with some searing, pulsating David Gilmour guitar work, as well as the famous Eastern European/Balkan folk singers 'Trio Bulgarka' from Bulgaria, and the result is just stunning. 30 years after her 'The Sensual World, album had been released one music journalist wrote a retrospective review of it and even though there had been numerous changes and trends in music, and many technology developments and advances in production etc that particular music journalist was still able to say that even after 30 years 'Rocket's Tail' still sounded 'like a miracle.' Even by her standards and it is an extraordinary song. There isn't an official video for it, but if you get an opportunity to listen to it and do a reaction video to it, it is really worth while; because 'Rocket's Tail' is probably unlike anything you have heard before, and is a great insight into the many things that make her a complete one of a kind artist.
Yeah! Kate has such a peculiar and unique voice. My favorite female artist from the past. Today, or better recently a bunch of new incredible young talents stepped up, like AJ, Aurora or Amira. But Kate will always have a special place in my ❤
Rockets Tail is my favorite song from this album. It also features a great solo from David. Unfortunately I don't think she made a video for that song. Gilmour featured as a guest in a lot of great songs from that period. Paul McCartney, Elton John, Warren Zevon, Supertramp, Bryan Ferry, BB King and many more. ‘Gilmour's guest appearances’ is a great rabbit hole to dive into.
Just imagine all the music out there, the artists you have reacted to, and many more names to come your way, each one with their own vast catalogue, you are in for a fantastic journey...Peace.
Kate Bush is very involved in the videos she releases. I understand she did not like performing live, but preferred the studio productions. Perhaps more artistic control. Very creative person.
You really have to listen (and maybe even react) to "Rocket's Tail" from the same album ("The Sensual World") of hers as it is the most brilliant collaboration between Kate Bush and David Gilmour (glorious guitar solo!). The song is definitely one of her most impressive in her catalogue with another very beautiful artistic collaboration with Bulgarka, a traditional bulgarian female trio with incredible voices. There's no official video for it as it was never released as a single, but you'll easily find official audio videos on her account on YT. Try to get the remastered version. All people who reacted to this song on YT were amazed. No wonder!
Check out Kate with Peter Gabriel in "Jeux sans frontières". Also, if you want to hear how her voice at 16, try Wuthering Height from her first album, The Kick Inside. Love to watch your reactions. Pax
Guys, we love your reactions!! Time to go back to Mexico, what about Mexican rock and one of the best spanish songs of all time… KUMBALA, la maldita vecidas
@isobeljames1328 During this time, her family compositions, which was turned down by record labels. Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour received the demo from Ricky Hopper, a mutual friend of Gilmour and the Bush family. Impressed, Gilmour helped the 16-year-old Bush record a more professional demo tape.Bush recorded three tracks, paid for by Gilmour. They tape was produced by Gilmour's friend Andrew Powell; Powell later produced Bush's first two albums, and sound engineer Geoff Emerick, who had worked with the Beatles. The tape was sent to EMI executive Terry Slater who signed Bush.
It was actially the demo tape for 'Man with the Child in his Eyes' that Gilmour produced and brought to EMI records in 1976 when Kate was only 16 yrs old. By then she had already written over 200 songs. They signed her immediately, gave her two years to prepare and handed her total creative control (!?!?!?) This was the UK in the mid-late 70s, a music industry owned managed, financed, produced and dictated mainly by aging male chauvenistic farts who are always drooling for the bottom line, and have their private army of producers, promotors and managers standing by. They signed her before realizing that Kate had her own private army of music lawyers standing by, Lol!! 8:17
@@TerenceShortman She's specifically talking about "Wuthering Heights" which she didn't write until after Dave's involvement (last song to be composed on the album).
Kate's family had been trying to get her a record deal for some time but none of the record companies were interested a mutual friend of Dave and the Bush family gave Dave her demo tape and asked his opinion Dave suggested producing a more professional demo and even paid for a recording session and got one of his producer friends to help. Kate took the new demo to EMI who signed her up. Such a talent as Kate would have got a record deal at some point but his help getting her noticed which got her a record deal with EMI lead to the release of her first single and a groundbreaking number one hit@@warrenbridges1891

A world without Kate Bush would certainly be a dull one. We all need to escape through amazing music like this.

Her voice is always spectacular, but this is on another level.

The fretless bass is essential to this song.

'Lining in the gap between past and future' - we've all been there.
I would love you to react to Kate's cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man." The video is amazing.

In so many ways, I am reminded of Aurora. Or rather it is the other way around. I feel they occupy the same spot in music separate by a generation.
Same as Toyah and Lady GaGa...
Kate is songwriter composer producer arranger, has the last word, you can't say that for those ladies
@@isobeljames1328 You can for Aurora, but I suspect you were talking about the other two.
Please look at her anti-war statement song in 'Army Dreamers' (1980). Her video is interesting and subtly powerful.
David helped Kate get started with her first hit wuthering Hights. they have been friends for a long while
Wrong fact about wuthering heights
