fame at last lol.... but for the wrong reasons :( I read a few comments on your vid and thank you to the kind people who commented on my van and my stroke. I've a long way to go but you only have one life and I'm aiming to live mine! It was brilliant meeting up that day- its getting to be an annual event lol and always one I look forward too. Must admit, I did get a bit embarrased seeing myself on video. I have my viv-i-van goes forth channel myself and have never got round to doing anything in front of the camera. I admire you and Lorna for having the bravery to do so. Probably now you're in full Scotland flow. Remember to let me know where you are going just in case I'm able to get up there and bimble with you for a while. As ever, love and respect to you, Lorna and my favourite furbie Chancer. I have to say, it's OK doing a conversion and bodging it if it's only yourself using it, but if you're supposedly a professional charging people, then it's disgraceful.
That reservoir looked nice, gonna look it up. Hope the deer got out OK.
@@roaminginraymond Helen it escaped two days later, we were worried it got more and more distressed, then it jumped, when I first saw the van in Jan 23 I couldn’t believe how bad the wiring was done, house cable on nearly all the wiring, inverter crammed in a space with no airflow and again house cable used, wouldn’t charge for more than an hour then battery would die, and the furniture was falling apart, poor Kenny got taken for a ride, was good to see him on the mend and with a van that is safe..👍👊🚌🥰

@@NBNatureTrailvan Hi guys strange the fridge has started working again after being off for 6 days, no idea why but pleased it is, deer jumped 2 days later, Kenny is a good guy and on the mend now, we are in Scotland now about to start on the van in the morning, take care and safe travels guys 🙏👊👍🚌🏴
Great vlog has always lovely place that is the reservoir views were amazing hope the baby deer found way home 🥰so sorry for your friend Kenny absolutely devastating and to cause stroke that’s dreadful 😢 stress is awful has I know I had 3 strokes at 37 first one on my birthday which will be 20 yrs ago on Wednesday my birthday 🎂, took few yrs to recover but I’m almost as fit has a fiddle now🤣 and we are definitely going full time in our Moho next yr so be even more stress free 😊, keep up good work safe travels 🚐 xx ❤

@@grahamgetsabout2672 no mate it’s a hard thing to do, Kenny is a star, trouble is lots of people see the converters on TH-cam and think I can do that, and don’t have the correct knowledge of safety issues.
If I had a battery power station, I feel like I would need a generator to charge it up. Why? well when they shut off our power sometimes it would ensure there is emergency power at all times. I could also use it if I had a caravan but no plans on getting one. The biggest thing for me is that when they shut our power off, we have no water. My regular generator can power most of the appliances except maybe the microwave and the AC, but having that stored wattage would possibly allow me to get water and run anything granted I keep it charged with the generator. If you think about it, you could just carry a small amount of petrol which would serve also as backup in case you were far from a gas station. Sorry for the long post. I know it isn't entirely relevant to today's video but as someone who has to be reliant on a generator for many years now and these desert like heatwaves, that is really the only way I could justify the cost of a battery power station.
@@monsieurbono absolutely spot on, we are looking to get a generator very soon as getting solar in to the power station is hard at the moment, probably better off with a lithium leisure battery and mppt charger and hooking up an inverter to it, be cheaper and have more storage capacity, fogststar do a 560 ah battery for same sort of money as some power banks, which is 3x the storage, all these power banks have their uses but some are just overpriced as they are portable and all in one solutions, we are lucky we get to use them for free but I would think twice if we had to pay for them, our original eco flow stations we did buy but wouldn’t again only because we could build a bigger fixed system for the same amount and be twice the size 🙏👊🚌🏴
