Teba completely trivializes the Hair-Width Trial missions. I used to farm rupees on the beginner trial using Teba and the quickest I've done it (by abusing his unique action) was 27s. the loading screen is the biggest time sink when I did this.
I already thought Teba was one of the most OP characters in the roster, and that was before I realized I could keep charging ZR while doing other things. Out of curiosity, wouldn't strong attack damage up be better or is it the same, since all of them ARE midair attacks?
In my most recent playthrough, I just got Teba and put some time into understanding his kit and oh man, I have absolutely come to enjoy it. He's got so much power and his dad jokes are the perfect way to cap it off 😂
I Love how when Revali and Teba fly around the fields , while holding their Bow&Arrows with their Talons(Feet). I usually not a Bow&Arrow fan, unless it's needed , but those 2 look fun to play as.
The moment I pulled off Teba's YYX for the first time and saw him flapping his wings while shredding that bow with his feet, I knew I was in for something special.
That airborne rapid-fire is insanely destructive and op. Also, at that speed and sound, it almost feels like he has a machine gun instead. Geez Teba, stop flexing on the enemy! He's already dead!
At first I didn’t really like either of the Rito characters. Then I realized that I can spam the Y button while in midair when using Revali or the X button with Teba. And when you add Aerial damage seals the DPS gets insane.
Yep! I like to get up real close to enemies to hit them with it when they initially fire, and let them rain down while doing other attacks. I also like to charge up the special attack while moving around so by the time I get to another stronghold I blast everything, and have tons of over-time damage from that plus the basic strong attack. Destroys everything.
One thing to mention about his YYX extension is that if you don’t press the analog stick any direction you can stand still whilst doing the attack making it great for taking down weak points
You can even guard while charging ZR, and having your guard break from strong attacks doesn't count towards resetting the charge, so hiding behind your shield to charge is a... strategy.
Y, Y, X while holding his unique action charge. Not even a Malice Lynel, Astor, Harbinger Ganon, or Calamity Ganon himself can be spared from a fully leveled Teba doing this.
More like the framerate becomes ridiculous. I thought Zelda using the Sheikah Slate was insane just smashing the buttons but Teba is on a whole new level. If you use attack speed ++ on him you can't literally keep up with him, the cap is just too high for your fingers 😅

Teba was one of my favorites almost as soon as I unlocked him. It started with his C2 being one of the best early weak point shredders in the game, and that was before I even knew how godlike his Stasis was. The only thing about him that could really be considered a weakness is his inability to force WPGs, and that barely matters, because once he is properly optimized, he is strong enough to kill many enemies without ever even needing to SEE it!
Interesting note: if you stasis an enemy with weak point up, you can do two full reps of 2nd heavy/combo (whatever you wanna call it) attack into a fully charged unique action, and after that you can land and do the weak point smash. absolutely decimates enemies and so far to me is the best way to shred when a weak point is up
Riju and Teba started out as two of my least favorite units since I had no idea how to control them. Now Riju is my main and Teba is my preferred crowd demolisher. It’s amazing how quickly opinions can change once you understand how to utilize a character!
I genuinely hated playing as Teba at first and avoided doing so because I didn’t understand him. Then on one of the missions where he was a required character I realized that I was absolutely annihilating some guardians with him and I had no idea why.

Teba is a really strong attack. For me, its versatility makes him pretty strong. Practically on each strong attack you can kill crowds while focusing on a single strong enemy.
My favorite thing to do with Teba is to Stasis immediately as a weak point guage shows up and then stand right up in front of them, charge up the zr and spam the first strong attack. Finally release zr once the strong attack naturally finishes and it will always be at it's max charge. This is basically guaranteed to break the weak point and get in a ton of damage afterwards without even using a weak point smash.

It's really worth noting that his bomb arrow combo finishers are his enhanced ability. Normally before getting the enhancement his attacks will end with regular arrows instead. That said, the bomb arrow enders give him a better weak gauge smasher if you time it out properly.
Teba's playstyle, unlike say the Great Fairies, was something I understood almost immediately and I could just tell how strong he is which just compounded into liking him even more
Teba is my favourite character, I like his play style, at the same time however, I don’t feel like I overused him similar to what happened in the original hyrule warriors with master sword link. Although teba was my first warrior to get to lvl 100, then most of the rest were levelled up with rupees. Plus, I recently got 2 ++ midair attack seals so I’m gonna try to get him a master bow. It’s only at lvl 16 rn though so I need to grind
Geez, I didn't even realize that his Stasis actually locked-on to enemies while you aimed it, I was perfectly happy just popping it instantly to keep single targets in place for 5 years. Imagine thinking something's already broken and then you realize you weren't even maxing out its potential. Mathematically though, you definitely get WAY more damage output off of maxing Mid-Air Attack seals. Tacking an extra 40% bonus onto a roughly 150-strength weapon will certainly add more than 5 strength when the character is nothing but Mid-Air Attacks.
Man, Nintendo really had to hurt Teba during the assault on Vah Medo so the bird dilf didn't blitz through the dungeon at ungodly speed before ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING Wind Blight, huh. He 100% could've done that by himself.
An important Teba tip that helps if you have a bit of the weak point left from a boss is once you finish his X barrage, you can keep pressing Y right after it ends for extra strong arrows to shoot after.
It says something about how strong this guy is that when I unlocked him and went to test out his moveset, I ran into four different things (C2, C3, C6, Stasis) that made me say "That's _broken_ how did that get past testing?"
You do an excellent job at creating these tutorials. This is how I learned how to use Riju properly, so thank you very much for the help. There are so many good characters in this game, its hard to choose a favorite. Teba...I had to practice with him to figure him out and now he is absolutely busted and just wrecks everything. I am aiming (LOL) to try and get all Mid-Air Attack Damage ++ seals on him even though I have 100%'d the game already. When I replay the game, I now know what seals to be looking for this time around. I hope we get some dlc in the future and some other characters added in to the roster, as well as some more backstory that we were told would happen but didn't. Urbosa's relationship to the Queen of Hyrule...yeah we never got that...which also doesn't help to make the connection to why she calls Zelda "Little Bird" if you haven't played Champion's Ballad.
i hadnt been using teba at all since i got him, he felt so unwieldy, but then i watched this video again and it got me interested in using him. and then i learned hes one of the best characters... i guess it helps i picked up an 80 power, level 1 bow at some point lol btw kudos on the rapid fire uploads, i know these guides cant be easy to make all the time, especially keeping up with the dlc!
My second most used character, i find Teba so fun to play. Thanks for your videos it help me to understand characters i didn't know how to play properly (like the fairies)
Definitely hoping for Sidon soon; he's one of my favorites, and I want to know once and for all if he's as good at breaking weakpoints as he feels like.
his shock at revali’s behavior is hilarious, and it’s even more hilarious how urbosa knew where it was going and told him to basically not start shit with the bird champion
One really good thing to crowd control is his Y Y X attack, after he shoots the bomb arrows you can quickly press B to ride the wind and then click Y Y Y this is a really good way to extend his combo
For Teba's strong attack 3 (YYX), you don't have to move forward constantly, it's possible to stop moving and keep shooting arrows without stopping the attack if you want to focus the attack on a specific target or need to stop to not move into an enemy's attack without dodging out of it.
He is certainly one of my favorites. I really wish we could get a game update to fix the camera issues. Both he and revali suffer from similar camera issues. And revali's special attack misses more often than it hits (even when locked on) any time you're in a small room and sometimes in large areas as well. Lots of things I'd like to see in an update patch for this game
You can get his unique attack basically dropping bomb arrows 24/7 since the bomb time exceeds the charge time, and you can stack this with both the first strong attack’s arrows going up and coming back down. If not for how stupidly strong his stasis is, you could also toss Cryonis in for extra hits. The moment a weak point gauge pops up, it gets shattere.
It's amazing that Sean Chiplock (The voice of Teba) is stronger than Sean Chiplock (the Voice of Revali).... yes that joke makes sense when you think about it.
Glad he's so good; he was my favorite from BotW, His professional attitude and easygoing acceptance of Link's confidence and lack of nonsense was just a fun contrast to the others.
Hold on a minute. After you free Medoh, Teba mentions that he's been trying to learn Revali's Gale. What if those gusts of wind around his arrows is him using that ability for offence rather than sustained flight?
My favorite character in the roster! It's insane how much Teba eats up weak point gauges, all you need to do is use Stasis when they are exposed, then YX and mash X. He can completely decimate even Lynel shields with ease.
I'm really enjoying your guides! many of the guides both online and on youtube seem to not fully look into characters before builds. Seems like every character has a lot of potential where most people have been writing off them. ie. Fairy, Zelda, and Daruk
Unlocked him today. Had Revali as my main before this. Revali is great and all, but holy shit, Teba feels so good to play. His movements feel a lot like Marco in pirate warriors to me. I really loved his moveset as well. Definitely going to play him a lot.
I want to point out that Teba does have seven regular attacks, it's just that the fifth and sixth attacks look like the same attack, especially if you're mashing the Y button and timing the strong attacks like I do.
Still prefer Lynel sword Link, but Teba was a character I very much enjoyed playing. But after a few rounds with King Rhoam, he's my second place character.
Age of Calamity did justice to many characters to the series not only in gameplay but in personality as well. Teba is one of my mains as well and does great damage. Also pre-preparing your charge is useful If your trying to charge.

Mathematically though, you definitely get WAY more damage output off of maxing Mid-Air Attack seals. Tacking an extra 40% bonus onto a roughly 150-strength weapon will certainly add more than 5 strength when the character is nothing but Mid-Air Attacks.
Teba is S Tier
Against my fingers
Man, Nintendo really had to hurt Teba during the assault on Vah Medo so the bird dilf didn't blitz through the dungeon at ungodly speed before ABSOLUTELY DESTROYING Wind Blight, huh. He 100% could've done that by himself.
An important Teba tip that helps if you have a bit of the weak point left from a boss is once you finish his X barrage, you can keep pressing Y right after it ends for extra strong arrows to shoot after.
It says something about how strong this guy is that when I unlocked him and went to test out his moveset, I ran into four different things (C2, C3, C6, Stasis) that made me say "That's _broken_ how did that get past testing?"
i loved this guy while i was playing the story mode because his damage output was amazing for the amount of bosses in the last 2-3 missions.
Damn, Teba, save some bussy for the rest of us.
Your videos really help a noob like me appreciate the nuances of each character. I hope you keep doing these!
It’s amazing how quickly you’re getting these videos out!
This guy is by far my favorite guy to play and this video made me realize I've never used his dashing strong attack.
My second most used character, i find Teba so fun to play.
Thanks for your videos it help me to understand characters i didn't know how to play properly (like the fairies)
Hestu and Mipha would be good to see next. Mipha’s cryonis also lies at it says she makes multiple ice blocks but she only ever does one.
YES. THE GOOD BOI. I’ve wanted to play him for so long, but I always found him ending up wonky. This is definitely helpful for that.
I’m so absolutely awful with Teba, so I’m excited for this one.
How players haven't revolted over the camera issues, I don't know. They're pathetic. Perhaps the worst I've seen
Thanks for the guide Shane! Just got Teba. Once I get all of his strong attacks unlocked, I am gonna start practicing with him!
Seems like Revali got outperformed.
Can't wait till the next guide comes out. Love learning new things about the game.
It's amazing that Sean Chiplock (The voice of Teba) is stronger than Sean Chiplock (the Voice of Revali).... yes that joke makes sense when you think about it.
would you consider doing one of these videos for Mipha? i'm having a lot of issues but she's my favourite champion and i really wanna make it work
She's all about combos and rhythm.
Great videos. Wonderfull quality. You should do Sidon next!!!!!!
Glad he's so good; he was my favorite from BotW, His professional attitude and easygoing acceptance of Link's confidence and lack of nonsense was just a fun contrast to the others.
Revali next?
that high resell weapon seal on the swallow bow is useless
You can’t even scrub it off
I was getting tired button mashing with Teba, but I’ll never get tired of these videos.
Nice work with characters review.
Just like I said in past video, a turbo function controller + Teba break the game. XD
I'm really enjoying your guides! many of the guides both online and on youtube seem to not fully look into characters before builds. Seems like every character has a lot of potential where most people have been writing off them. ie. Fairy, Zelda, and Daruk
one thing the YYX can be stationary too if you dont move the control stick
Love the way you cover these characters man! Subscribed and excited for more :)
Man, I've been watching this channel for a while and never realized this was your second channel.
What’s his main channel?
@@kylechong1655 ShaneBrained, it’s in the “Channels” section of this channel.
Age of Calamity did justice to many characters to the series not only in gameplay but in personality as well. Teba is one of my mains as well and does great damage. Also pre-preparing your charge is useful If your trying to charge.
