When you discover that this music video exists years after first hearing the song and after listening to it millions of times somehow the video is literally exactly what you pictured every single time you listened to it
That's wild, love this comment.
Miss you Stuart♡
+Raquel Farias Pq todo mundo sempre fala isso nos vídeos do ttng? Eu sempre achei o vocalista novo ok!
xseq xqwe duas pegadas diferentes, eu gosto de ambos igualmente mas que era uma vibe diferente, é inegavel, mas eu amo o 13.0.0.0 então ta otimo ♥
Please return to me...
@@gabrielceolato2 o novo é ok, mas não se compara ao Stu
Brazil is now playing football like Madagascar
Darting Math Rock and Low-Lit Lamp Lights. I came to the right place.
I love TTNG due to it having more that of a math structure which they decide to "give up solo's" in exchange for a more complex song overall. The use of complex rythms but yet the reuse of them in the transcurse of the song is refreshing. Similar yet different to the basic structure of jazz
Just discovered these guys. Love the way the drummer keeps the beat driving while the guitar and bass have this loose feel to them. It all just blends together well.
One of the most gorgeous songs ive ever heard
im so glad theyre bringing stu back for the animals tour this october
I'm so sad I missed it. :(
Got to see them twice that tour. Fuck, man. They sounded great.
Youre stuck between a lampshade & the drawer...
Sentenced to an evening as the party entertainment's prop 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This song is fire. But I think you meant "drunk". ;)
I wish that they'd revive this song for their live shows
swear
How does this amazing song not have more views?
Because you forgot to tell your dad.
Because I am the gatekeeper
i like how TTNG ignores proper song structure. There are few choruses. Its like jazz where the music just keeps pushing forward and never feels old.
Wait, bands within the same clearly defined genre sound almost the same? Holy shit, stop the presses, somebody has made a genius discovery that nobody has ever realized before.
*sniff* *sniff* I'm gonna miss you're beautiful voice Stu :''(
My favorite thing about this band is how they finger pick in the same pattern almost every single song...it's so catchy.lol.
I think it's cool how the drums are sped up because you could play this song a lot different on drums. Great drummer.
I'm in love!
are the 3 words I hope to hear next year.
my friend showed me this band yesterday and i can't get enough of them
The lyrics are amazing. He puts you right in his shoes.
this band is amazing, how great their music is to me cannot be put into words
I'MMMMMMMMM INNNNNNN LOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEE....
with this band.
Saw them live in chi-town.
Jaw dropped.
First in 2023...big love from Jakarta, Indonesia.
Imstill stuck on you too Stuart
i could listen to the first 10 secs over and over again.
one of the best bands i've ever heard, hands down! :)
This is a fact: They did not want to bother themselves with giving them well-thought-out names and it would be a pain to remember the title when touring so they gave em animal names. No meaning behind it, really, just to simplify things.
last night, a laid in bed for an extra hour with this song just running through my head.
One of my favorites
ohh how could i forget when Stevie T was TTNG's vocalist
The "chorus" at 1:32 is just beautiful.
Wow their sound just brought on a big ol' wave of nostalgia...
Chill out, that was just what it reminded me a bit of.
please come to Italy!!
Finalmente qualche italiano!
Sarebbero venuti a Cagliari la scorso 28 marzo ma per via delle pandemia hanno annullato tutto..
Just an outstanding band can not go wrong with them. Seeing them live in Camden Barfly this Wednesday with Pennines, Brontide and Colour who i all highly recommend. Especially Colour check 'em out sound a bit like these. Amazing.
man i liked this song.... but after looking of the lyrics my head exploded... what a great song.... (helps being able to relate a great bit)
I first listened to this band about 13 years ago and never realized a music video existed until today. I was barely an adult back then and now I've got some greys coming in. It's certainly nostalgic and makes me miss my ex girlfriend from all those years ago.
liking this muchly...
*I’M IN LOOOOVEE*
best song off of animals.
Обожаю этих ребят
i wish it wasnt so short i want more panda!
This is worthy to go on my ipod, finally a good band :)
I totally just bought the album because of all these songs on youtube. I love TTNG.
sweet. they should try to play at bonaroo that would really boost their success in the states.
these guys are musical genius. end of story. for sure seeing them both nights they are in chicago.
Hits every time
my favorite ttng song. 2:49 to the end is the best part of any of their songs
so looking forward to animals!
Me thinks people tend to ruin good music by getting too genre obsessive.
This Town Needs Guns are talented musicians playing good music....just enjoy it.
Hahh, I am chilled out. Everyone thinks differently. :]
Now here's a guy that isn't chilled out!
*points at DonBello*
awsome band love every song from their album my favorite is zebra so simple yet the lyrics say allot its just amazingly awsome :) WoooOOoooooooooooooOOooooot TTNG!!!!!!
It's like the band Owl's instrumental musicianship, with the vocals from American Football combined and had This Town Needs Guns as a baby =]
Yeah awesome tune guys!
junkyhunkyman u r so right lol theyre too good it makes me cry too lmao
sucha awesome song. so hard to take that i might break, im discovering that theres so much to consider worthwhile, but most of all i learnt to hate that im still stuck on you.
This band has always reminded me of the band American Football, but TTNG is WAY more fun.
@ninjasteetack Loads, check out bands on the Big Scary Monsters record label. 'Colour' were really good, until they broke up but some of excolour formed another band called 'Tangled Hair', they're brilliant. Check out Maefield Setting too :)
Both faves of all time
stu looks like the guy from the never meant music video
They have a tab book for sale on their website.
Amazing
@3xarch No, progressive is specifically about structure. And it doesn't mean not structured, it means having a mostly non repetitive structure. Experimental =/= progressive, although they frequently go hand in hand.
yes plz!
this is awesome!
Wow, very good, first time hearing them, will definitely be checking out more.
My memories live in this song D:
this looks ace! another good one! :) love it!! x
@Simmonct well if the dates on their myspace blog are true then they will be in chicago march 27th and 28th.
listened to it...it's fucking awesome. "Animals" rocked me to sleep.
i just realized something... stuart’s voice totally sounds like an emo ben gibbard
My childhood was good.. just on music..
@spynae Yeah, I noticed that in the earlier videos, but at that point I think they switched to their current bassist, Jamie, who had played a Highway One Fender Jazz, and now a Kramer something or other.
How on earth hav I only just discovered this band....
genius.
i love it =)
hello old man
@Lunchboxx45 It's so amazing to see an Anthony Green fan here. :D
it's weird that the voice seems off from the rest to me, but I can't stop listening it
wanna hear more of them now :)
AMAZING
I think of my friend when I hear this song:)
@muzacInmyBlood definitely
@kyletramirez You are the only person left in the world with the capacity to be truly original. Clearly. Link us to your band, the band that's so incredible that everyone in the world likes it. So fresh that nobody has ever heard it. So perfect that noone need listen to anything else, ever again!
Link us to it and then you can rant about creativity, but until then don't rip on great musicians.
They looks exactly like what i imagined them to looks like
Panda, PANDA PANDA PANDA
lmao
i got broads in atlanta
check Jamie's moves! Go Jimsocks!
@GoodOldAl7 When are they in Chicago?!?!?!
cool, i can't say that much since most of your songs have to grow before unfolding their full effect.
this band hits me where it hurts T.T
i like i like
It sounds a little like American Football. Very good.
math rock is candy to my ears
@muzacInmyBlood it totally does
I am in love with this town. are there other bands with the same style? i've been looking but i can't find any and they just don't have enough music yet haha.
druming is ggoooood
Remember when this vid had under 10,000 views, dang. But s for Stu leaving, there is seriously no one better to replace him than Henry from Pennies, mhm.
its so annoying that bands as good as this don't get as noticed as the over produced generic pop music that dominates the charts today
The album does have 1 mil views on youtube. I know it's nowhere near as known as pop crap, but it's an accomplishment, right?
yea it is a really good accomplishment, its just a bit frustrating in music today as it seems like the real musicians who are creative and artistic are being forced to take a back seat by digital music which lacks the talent and discipline that music demands sorry ive just finished my music degree and i'm starting to sound like my lecturers really love this band though
Jamie Brennan Excellent. I hope you are able to do something great with the music knowledge you've gained!
thanks :) im looking to getting into teaching eventually when i stop moaning about pop music lol
Matthew Morris yea they are known within certain circles, but more people know shitty artists like beiber than bands like this. my point is that actual musicians like this with genuine talent and skill are being forced to take a back seat to some generic piece of shit music.
vvvv this man knows what he's talking about vvvv
i'll always miss you
@Pantera411 i thought the same thing when i first listened to them
@NDay628 It's weird. It's so, unique. It perfectly suites his genre. He'd be terrible in any other genre but had created his niche and it is beautiful. I'll miss him ;P put his ass in Tera Melos. They need a singer
these guys better come to america or i will be very disappointed
@ninjafrank1337 its still experimental in style man, the term progressive doesn't strictly mean just not structured any more
