A cup of ambition is an old term for coffee! It was also a line in the song by Dolly Parton to go with the movie 9-5. “Stumble to the kitchen, pour myself a cup of ambition”. 😄
I think they made a batch of Freshly Brewed Coffee duds because I've read similar reviews to yours, and yet a solid amount of others shared my experience: 7ish strength and throw, and great burns. It's a great fragrance, so hopefully you can give it another try and get a better one.
Traditionally, Paris Cafe is a Candle Day candle. It is one of my favorites, however, I will concede that the last really good one was released CD 2020 in a peach colored jar. The last few years iterations have come out in a brown solid jar and had an off scent. I’m hoping this year will be better. I still have two jars from 2020 to compare this years version.

I’ve just bought both these from a UK seller, they both smell the same but a very very good coffee scent. 😊Pauline.
