Also the restore was only able to happen due the backups being not with Google. Also Google is the one that deleted the account.

I'd trust a VPN over anything related to Microsoft. There are alternatives but honestly it depends on the use case

I use VMware WS all the time because I can easily put a VM from my desktop to the servers or the other way and control them a bit more easily than from the web client from my pov

Everything like the didn't exist. This was a '401k' management fund. 1.5b of assets managed. I can't believe that it's not bigger news

For that Google nuked an entire company and back ups, I read the company had a secondary backup from another company that they had, which restored all their data?

It was Australian unisuper a 401k fund Manager. Massive financial company

We have had nothing but problems with Veeam and getting it to work on Red Hat 8.8 and 8.9. Have you had any success? Thanks for the video.

In what way exactly? Backups on vm or physical? Using rhel for proxies? I've never run into an issue with veeam and backing up any vm in vmware and I've recently done physical agent backups in rocky8 and 9 which should be fairly close.

Did they move VMWware login accounts to broadcom's site now?

There was a few emails sent out on how to make accounts at broadcom and make sure you're profile is all setup. Our middle man vendor is still working to get our licenses available.
