A month after I turned 12! I was at my uncle and cousins’ old apartment (my family and I were visiting my grandparents for thanksgiving a few years back). I remember going to the bathroom, and I noticed some brown spots in my underwear. My immediate thought was that it must have had something to do with periods. Sure enough, it was!
