HOW?! I've watched this video tens of times over the past 2 years, and I still wonder how this car is so perfect. The car grips perfectly through the chicanes and looks incredibly quick, and its lightning on the Mulsanne strait. The car also barely lifts through the Porsche curves. This is just the perfectionist evolution of the RSR heritage!

smaller engine for fuel reasons
took the aero off of it because theres no reason for it on the road
but i get what you mean, these cars are supposed to look like road cars, but they are not supposed to be able to drive on public roads specifically

Porsche GTs got penalties because of excessive use of track limits during Le mans 2018 by the way.

Honestly, it doesn't look like he put the wheels on the left over the line. you wouldn't get a slow down for this in iRacing!
@@TheZiPProject you have to have 1 wheel on the kerb before the end of it to avoid a slowdown
What, You can use that kerb, no problem To go fast you have to drive on them, it is not easy but they say that if you go very comfortably very fast you will not go.

Since the first time I’ve heard about 24h race, I was really impressed with it. My friends also knew this kind of race, but they just watch this for fun. But me, I impressed because how the whole team could focus in 24h. That’s why I love 24h, they are so talented.

Damnit I love this car and track. What a hot lap.
Even more amazing is how realistic I racing is with this car and track. I literally have to brake and use same gears as the real world car to do well in I racing.

I was thinking the same, have around 150 laps now done on this map in Assetto and this really looks exactly how I do it in the RSR

There is already last year's pole lap on the channel, which is still the track record.

@@777m-f7f Probably not because the GT2RS CS has far less downforce and more power, much more power (+/- 500hp VS 700hp). But on an entire lap, the RSR is faster.
How many horsepower does this car have?
About 500.
that's a cayman under there! mid engine. very hard to learn about this generation rsr....I heard they used cayman chassis. please tell me where I can read tech documents on these.
