I definitely prefer your style to the guys who use more epoxy than wood.
I'm glad you like it
@@marmotaworks I do. My father was a master woodcarver who loved the medium. I have inherited that from him. He would have loved your work too.
when the rock mass looks like a map of the country. I wish I had enough money to own such an impressive table.
Great job!
Many thanks!
I love olive wood. Never seen a piece that big.
Yeah, it was really big
I would imagine that you thought, from a single piece, easy. Ha Ha Ha, lots of repair and restore work on a piece that old. Fantastic job my man. Thank you for sharing your work with us Miguel.😎
You are right, it was not easy
Nice Job!! I love Olive wood it's so beautiful.
Yes, it's one of my favorites
Fantastic job, bravo!!!!👍👍👍👍👍
😄
This is beyond gorgeous. I would have paid whatever to own it. 😍
Thanks!! It's already sold, but I make custom tables. 😉
Absolutely awesome! I love olive wood.
I'm glad you like it
Beautiful grain!
Yes!
Beauty-full.
Greetings from México City.!
Thanks. Greetings from Berlin!
absolutely mesmerizing. LOL Mr.Bond Villain. I can't stop replaying this whole video again and again. It is so satisfying. Thank you so much! Final product almost looks like a 3D render, perfection!
😂thanks!!
Очень круто!!
Желаю Вам удачи и успехов!
Thanks a lot!
Tree landed on the perfect person hand. I'm glad.
Thank you!
Good wow table. 👌🙏.
Thank you!
Everything you build is purely well thought out. I find it so brilliant that you suggest charcoal instead of using a dye. Bleed is awful. It’s a brilliant strategic suggestion. I also admire that you build everything legacy style. Meaning that it will last for many many many years.
Thank you! I dare not use charcoal for large pours, but it works very well to fill small gaps.
this sir is one gorgeous table! The wood is simply incredible. What kind is it? In any case it is very stunning what you have done with it. Beautiful!
Thanks!! It's olive wood
Awesome piece
I'm glad you like it
Wow, amazing work! The grain of this wood piece is absolutely gorgepus. Please don't let the scrap wood piece go to waste :(
Thanks, I'll don't do it!
Stunning work pal
Thank you!
Very beautiful,👍
😄
This is increadible
Thanks a lot
When you applied the hard wax oil, did you use the scotch brite pad while it was still wet?
Yes, so it penetrate the wood better
Very beautiful
Thanks!
Magnifique!
Merci beaucoup!
Very nice
Thank you!
Добрый вечер, как всегда всё прекрасно! Супер! Спасибо за видео, привет из России!
Many thanks! Greetings from Berlin
Another great table. The golden colour of olive wood looks so warm and inviting. Keep up the great content dude!!!
Thanks, I'll do it!
I say 'shame on nature' and kudos to an amazing craftspeople for sharing its beauty! ❤
Amazing I love it
I'm glad you like it!
@@marmotaworks like it so much that I’m going to make one lol I’m a woodworker however I’ve never used apoxy before
❤ nice
😄
Good work but I think the underside looks better'
Mater of taste
I have the same router, is the router bit an 8? Because looks huge as a 12. Beautiful piece
It's 8
Beautiful. I tried to get some olivewood recently, but it seems to be sold out everywhere.
Where are you from??
I would like to see you do a table with Burma Padauk wood...=))
I have never used it. Is it a reddish wood, right?
Yes, it's Red, I like the bright color posibilities...=)@@marmotaworks
nice table. Question: Are you putting charcoal into the epoxy before pouring it? (Just double checking as I never used epoxy before.)
Yes, put the charcoal and mix it.
May I buy your another coating of finishing ?
Yes, you can
Subscribed! I looove pizza ❤😂😂
😂😂
Where did you get those acrylic sheets from?
Amazon
@@marmotaworks thank you for the fast reply! Do you have a link for it?
mmmm Pizza.
What other fruit do you think could be put on pizza to cause the same type of debate as pineapple?
I was going to say that putting fruit on pizza should be forbidden, but then I realized that tomato is technically a fruit, so all pizzas have fruit 🤔
Jam, pear and gorgonzola?? What do you think?
🙏👏👍💪
😁
Should be highly illegal to cut down any tree over 500 years old. Yes this beautiful table will grace someones living room for a time but it'll soon end up in a dump.
Trees are living beings, therefore, they die. There aren't many species that live over 500 years.
This tree was already dead when they cut it down.
Deutscher Kanal in englischer Sprache ???
I love the tomatoes from Germany! Greetings from Spain
Was ist für dich denn Deutschland? Und wieso ist Berlin kein Deutschland mehr? 🤷♂️
Und er benutzt bestimmt die englische Sprache, um ein großes Publikum zu erreichen, denn Deutsch wird in Deutschland (und ein paar weitere Länder) gesprochen, aber in Deutschland werden auch andere Sprachen gesprochen 😉

I Bet the olive tree was stolen from Palastin
Unfortunately, I don't think people in Palestine are currently worried about someone stealing their olives. And I can assure you, no, this wood doesn't come from Palestine.
@marmotaworks well, I didn't meant you in my comment, I was talking about big companies, sorry if my comment offended you.
I can’t believe that nobody is commenting on what an eyesore that black epoxy edge patch is. The olive wood is so beautiful but when you look across the table top what do you see? A black splotch. It doesn’t move along the grain to draw your eye across the piece and it isn’t a complementary or even a suitable accent color. It’s all you see- a black splotch. Absolutely unacceptable. Such beautiful wood and you don’t even notice it, not at least until you’re done trying to Ma kg r sense of the black epoxy. I’m sorry brother, but somebody has to speak the truth
It's a good thing that there are kind-hearted people like you in the world who possess the truth and are willing to share it with others (because obviously, that's not a personal opinion, it's THE TRUTH). I'm going to call the customer who was delighted with his table right now and tell him that he was wrong, that it's actually a terrible table. Thanks for opening our eyes!
@@marmotaworks hahaha well done. Ignore that jealous guy. If I had the extra money floating around I would totally pay a premium price for this. Btw, I didn't get what you mean by this table is a commission from a client, for a cellar in London. You paid for the slab and you made this table right. How does it basically work? I didn't understand this part.
@@Tdotttttt Don't worry, I take all these comments with humor. The only person in the world who really gets on my nerves is Bond, James Bond.
great table, well done
Many thanks
Wonderful work. Great result, and I love Pizza!
,😁
This is simply stunning! ❤
😄
Music is somewhat out of place and irritating. I don't watch videos for such noise. That's a fine video and full of very helper hints along with your very good videography. Your finishing work is outstanding.
I'm glad you like almost everything. I'll work on the music.
This piece turned out great!!! Nicely done.
Thanks a million!
You should consider using slotted holes in your metal inserts and leg mounts to allow for movement of the wood through the seasons.
I do it
Beautiful work! I subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
can you do a tour of your workshop especially the machines you use
Ok, maybe in the next video
I wish I could do this for a living 😢
It's not easy...
Chasing your dreams, man!
Good job, beautiful finish, perfect work! 👍👏👏👏
Thank you!! 😁
What an absolutely beautiful piece of wood. Your skills are outstanding!
Many thanks
You're right! It is beautiful grain! Wonderful job!
Thank you!
Nice work as usual sir !!
Many thanks
Lovely build. Thank you.
Thanks for watching
It’s a beautiful piece 😀
😄
super cool
Thanks
Hello brother, I am also a carpenter, I have watched your video and really appreciate your work.
Thank you, positive comments from woodworkers are the best.
Nice work!!! I love it!
😄
👍👍👍!!!
😁
👍👍👍
😊
Nice work. I like that you got a semi-gloss sheen on that with a hard wax oil. I've been using Rubio but it tends to leave a relatively dull finish. I'm curious what your recipe or manufacturer of choice is?
It's osmo polyx oil
I really like the wood, but the black epoxy isn't the most original idea anymore. Not sure what would be a better idea, but the wood is gorgeous. Would it not be possible to use your sawdust, combined with epoxy?
It may no longer be the most original, but it certainly contrasts best with the wood.
The truth is, I felt sorry for throwing away that peculiar sawdust...
Beautiful and 1000 years old. By the way, what brand are the red tools in this video?
Thanks!
Einhell. The orbital sander is Flex
Very cool stuff...thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
good job , congratulations
Thank you!
Splendid work...excellent
Thanks a lot!
I feel sorry for the old tree that got cut down after 1000 years.
They are trees that were dead and are cut down to replant the field
How can it be over 1000 years old? World was created in 1776!
Do you know the exact day and time? I'm very interested.
Ola Marmota! Como sempre um trabalho lindo e perfeito! Parabens! Terminei o meu trabalho e gostaria da sua opnião. Te marquei nos comentários no insta. Grande abraço!😉
Hi Andre! I hadn't seen it; I forget to check Instagram often. You've done a really, really good job, incredible! What kind of wood is it? I don't recognize it.
@@marmotaworks Thank you very much! I learned a lot from your videos and I try to do the same. The name of this wood is angico. It is a very common wood in Northeast Brazil. Very hard. It took a lot of work to finish it. I hope to reach your level of perfection one day! Thank you one more time!😉
