Been using them for couple of months now and my Kent combs have cobwebs now 😂 the Chicago Combs are awesome especially the pick for my beard,gets the underneath hairs perfectly

I’ve been wanting to dye my beard and then I look at guys like you and Greg Boswell. I only have a little grey/white in my beard, but I imagine more is on its way.
I have a Chicago model 2 comb and a Kent FOT comb, both are really small which I like, the Chicago does not snag or scrape the scalp and combs some what smooth, the Kent does not snag or scrape the scalp either but the comb feels Silky smooth combing your hair, the Kent is deffinitely the better comb

I picked up the #8 as well, and that thing is legit! I use it for detangling in the shower, and after I work in some co-wash, I'll run it through again.
Ok. I’m a believer now!! Got in all the Chicago Combs you reviewed. Just like the pick the others are absolutely awesome. I love the pocket comb. Leather case is nice. What I like about this pocket comb is the teeth are a bit wider than all the other pocket combs I’ve purchased. The #6 is great. It might very well replace my ox horn comb😱 What!?! Yes. I know. Thx so much again for the review.

@@califpv my brush is a simple Walgreens/ Walmart detangler brush nothing from a product company. The bore brushes i find are styling keeping your hairs tight together
Chicago Combs are definitely the best on the market hands down. I'll never use any other again. I have the #1 and #6 they are so phenomenal. Both of mine are the Carbon Fiber Series as well, I have my #6 engraved with my name.
The Kent 16T compares to the Chicago Model 6. For me, the Chicago Model 6 is far superior and the winner. The Kent 81T moustache comb is barely a nose wide. The Kent 87T folding moustache comb is the ONLY Kent I can recommend. I didn't think I'd like the Chicago Model 2 moustache comb, but I am very pleased with it. The Kent 2T has teeth 12mm (1/2") long. This barely gets through my trimmed moustache, let alone my coarse and VERY curly beard hair. I can't recommend it at all. I ordered the Kent OT, but realized that it was far too small to be useful as a "pocket comb" and cancelled the order. The Chicago Models 3, 10, 8, and 14 are on my "wish list".
Hey Matt, what’s your opinion on steel combs? I know they said wood and horn are best for the beard but Kent’s acetate combs are my go to. I read somewhere that steel (and possible carbon) may be harmful to the beard but I just wanted to know what you thought?
Kent has always been my go-to, these feel like a nicer version to me. I’ve never personally had any harmful effects from metal or carbon fiber combs nor have heard of any. I guess if you were using a cheap steel comb that could potentially be harmful. The quality though of Chicago Combs which does offer stainless steel is impeccable!

I think I’ll stick with my Kent. Not much on a metal comb.
Totally different than metal, they are Carbon fiber composite which feels like a lighter nicer version of a Kent Comb.
