I'm a current alcoholic who can't go 4 days without drinking before I'm at risk of seizing up. I watch this channel to help and its been working. You show me so many songs that seem like i just need to be hearing. Glad I found you man, thanks.
@@TormentedVet_Reactions Please, never stop. I know there are thousands similar to me who will find their way to your channel. Most of us won't even say it to our families so we find our outlets. It most certainly helps. I can't afford health insurance to get the real help I need so I make due with what I can find on the Internet for sobriety help. I have cut down my drinking, trying to do better.
I’m not a doctor but have you tried taking potassium, sodium, and magnesium supplements? They have significant effects on the nervous system and alcohol depletes the body’s reserves which causes heart palpitations & possibly seizures. I’d recommend taking daily supplements. I feel it’s okay to recommend since it’s not a medication recommendation. If it doesn’t help, try to lessen the amount consumed each time and drink something like pedialyte with it. I hope you recover well and soon. 🙏🏼
You can get there! My daughter is an alcoholic. She has been sober for over a year now. It’s hard to go through withdrawal and can be dangerous when you’re ready put in place someone who can check on you during it.
My wife relapsed last year after we went through a separation, that was leading to a divorce, but it never got finalized... She moved out and got involved with the wrong person. She ended up overdosing a few months ago.... I fought to get her help because I knew nothing good was going to come out of it. I will always live with the regret of not trying harder. And now I have a teenage daughter who will never have her mom again. It breaks my heart how damaging addiction can be!!!
I was addicted to fentanyl for almost 7 years but june 12 will be my 2 years clean. It was a hell of a fucking road and it took me multiple tries before i finally figured it out. But here i am. Now im in the process of becoming a Certified Recovery Specialist that way i can help people that are in the shoes i once was. For anybody who might come on this video and might be struggling with addiction please remember that youre bigger than this and you can overcome it! It takes alot of work and dedication but i promise you if you put in the work happiness is on the horizon! #WeDoRecover
encouragement doesn't cost anything. can happen to the best and worst of us. don't let go of them or they'll let go of everything and everybody with nothing to live for. nobody knows what that person has been thru. kick out the judgment. 😢😢❤❤😢😢
As a daughter & sister of a veteran & current military, I appreciate you & your channel. My oldest daughter, far away, got involved with a guy who over time began with mental abuse then slowly began physical & sexual abuse. It completely broke her down, drug abuse as well. She had me raise her daughters, then several years later her son, while she tried to get her life together. Rehabs, jail, more rehab, more relationships, living on the streets. Her girls are out of highschool now & her son will be out in a few years. You cant tell them what to do, you just love them, care about them & encourage. She has to choose for herself & its a daily struggle & fight. Shes in rehab now & i pray this 1 will be when she can break thru, get strong & keep strong for the daily battle to be sober
If you like the perspective changes from Joyner Lucas he has a few other songs that are similar. There's I'm not racist, Ross cappuccine(That's definitely not how it's spelt), and Marlon Kraft has a song called gang
From someone else's comment on another review video - The guy playing the "Junkie" is my fiancés good friend Mic DeVine. They all grew up together rapping in Worcester, MA with Joyner. Mic wrote/made the video that inspired this song, which is why he was in the video. Mic is an AMAZING rapper, and would be Forever grateful if you could give it a listen, & maybe even react to it. If this got you choked up, then Mic DeVines 'Way Down We Go' will destroy you. (It's dedicated to one of our friends, Dave Fournier, who lost battle with his addiction.) th-cam.com/video/_8TcfQriKu4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7N6-TeQODxSjfq3x

Also I don't know how I forgot, I'm sorry is also a very good one
can you react to I’m Sorry - Joyner Lucas? it’s a deep song about suicide who joyner made about his cousin he had lost
its about fentanyl
I feel it could apply to most any substance honestly..

I’m stronger if I’m helping.
Trust issues right?
