Daddy was a pastor. He took me to church everyday. Dad died when i was 5 and my whole life changed for the worst. Dealing with grief, mental illness has been the norm, i was suicidal but even in those dark moments, The Jesus that my Daddy introduced me to, was right there. I am alive because of Jesus. My history begun in church, and i will never leave. I will live to teach my kids one day, that the safest place they can ever be is Church and That Jesus is important than anyone! Well Cece I am 51 years old now. When I first heard this song I was about 19 or 20 years old riding in the back of my aunts Chevy caprice high and club hoping. But hearing this song I began to weep in the back of that car. I was broken hearted and I didn't know this was about the fathers love. I just knew it was about love. This is one of those songs that I listen to just to remind me of the faithfulness of God,i have recently been in jail for 43 days incarcerated because my sister has a restraining order trying to keep me away from Mom and dad and my dad passed away while I was in jail that was very hard to endure but I kept my focus on Jesus Christ and I preached the message of salvation to everyone who God put in my pathway, God is good and don't get me wrong i still love my sisters even though they caused me great pain, Glory to God
