I am alive today because He wouldn't let me do nothing but stand. As of 09/28/23, it's been two years since my world changed but God is restoring everything I lost. I've just lost my father, his last word was "when I go, don't cry but give thanks to God because my assignment is done here". This song brings back a lot of memories and hope to stand.
In 2019, while working as a nurse, I had 5 strokes. I was in a confused state. Unfortunately the nurses around me thought I was just overworked and groggy. I finished my 17 hour shift, drove home and had another stroke. I was dxd with Brain Vasculitis. My brain arteries were 98% occluded. Every time I went to church or fellowshiped, I asked for healing. 7 years later, all my arteries opened up, except one. Initially I was supposed to live only 3 or so years. But then God smiled. It is 2024, and I am still here. Isn't Our God soooo very good to us?🎉🎉❤❤❤

This Sunday, we learned of my mother's terminal, inoperable cancer. She was well, and planning her next chapter, at the tender age of 75, including plans with a new love of 6 years. Her annual blood work was great. She had lost a bit of weight, but in U.S. culture, perceived that as a positive. Her diagnosis has devastated our family, and we are heartbroken. Please pray for my beloved mother who is the SOUL of our family. Our prayer is that she experience minimal pain/suffering, and that she come to peace with rising to meet God's next challenge and journey. (She is NOT there yet.) She's a tough cookie, and of course, we would love for her to beat this, yet appreciate that the likelihood is slim. Thank you all for your support.

This Sunday, we learned of my mother's terminal, inoperable cancer.
She was well, and planning her next chapter, at the tender age of 75, including plans with a new love of 6 years.
Her annual blood work was great.
She had lost a bit of weight, but in U.S. culture, perceived that as a positive.
Her diagnosis has devastated our family, and we are heartbroken.
Please pray for my beloved mother who is the SOUL of our family.
Our prayer is that she experience minimal pain/suffering, and that she come to peace with rising to meet God's next challenge and journey.
(She is NOT there yet.)
She's a tough cookie, and of course, we would love for her to beat this, yet appreciate that the likelihood is slim.
