Your work is very much appreciated. Would you mind doing a 7 outlier blancos we should try? I am intrigued by the very complex tequilas like Amatitena, Exclusivo Vivo, 1123, Chamucos, Cazcanes Joven, etc....

Was not that impressed with Carrera. Tryed to introduce it to some new tequila drinkers and it didn't do the job. So I took out my secret weapon "Tequila Ocho" and it was a success.

These are all great tequilas, especially for us blanco lovers! I would also add purasangre blanco to the list...has an amazing complex flavor with loads of sweet agave

I have all of these except carrera. My favorites from this list is Aguila Real, El Luchador, and Galindo 😋😋 very good blanco tequilas👍👍

Good to know about Pasote. It was sad seeing people hate on Pasote for the NOM change. Tepozan blanco is one of my favorites so I’m curious how Pasote will differ.
On another note, as I’m getting more and more into other agave spirits, I’ve been finding myself drift more and more to blanco tequilas. It’s amazing how slight differences in production and terroir can impact a tequila (or any agave spirit) so much.

Have you tried El Luchador blanco 110 proof? Does the Agave flavor come thru?

The 110 is delicious. It's in the same league as Fortaleza still strength but with a more assertive flavor.
I’ve heard a few people say they aren’t fans of the new pasote, do you think it’s just as good?
I like it more. It has more complexity and depth to it.
I've found it to be good .has a mint fresh grass smell. Goes great with pineapple juice and Agave syrup
Pasote is about the only 1 of those I've seen. Im in Vegas
Most of them can be found in Vegas.. 😀👍 Or you can order them from ferment and Still and it gets there overnight after its shipped for cheap..
Tequila Ocho?
Everyone already knows about Ocho. These are ones a lot of people don't hear about. I did this for a reason. To get people to try other great things out there that everybody isn't always talking about like Ocho and Fortaleza etc..
The new Pasote is BETTER than the old one? Sacrilege!!! That said, I can’t wait to try one, but it’s gonna be hard to improve upon my old standby
More mineral rich water gives it more flavor where as the rainwater made it more bland.
Prices??
You should mention prices. Most people, including myself, probably can't afford to blow $75 or more on a bottle of tequila even though you can and that particular tequila may be "out of this world" good.
These are all around $45 and some in the $30s. I don't discuss pricing because it's different in each state with taxes.
