Omg you awnsered (if I spelled that right) that’s for that anyway you helped me do more stuff on procreate I’m not from England so my spelling is kinda weird even tho it’s my first language ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ that’s for doing that tho
I love these type of tutorials but can I request you do tutorials with Ibis paint X because almost all the tutorials are Procreate and I'm an Android user..
Thanks so much for this tutorial. Straight away I have an issue I haven't had before with the medium airbrush. When I drag in a colour, it fills the whole screen even though I have no gaps or thin pieces. Any tips to eliminate that?
Your color drop threshold is too high...when dragging the color, don't release it...wait for the blue slider (percentage) to appear at the top of the screen...slide your pen to the left until the color fills the shape you want...if you get a small gap near the lines then slide the pen to the right and release just before it fills the whole screen...hope that helps even though the reply is late
This is my first time to try following the tutorial. Is it just me or someone has the same feeling that the steps are going too fast? This is definitely not suitable for following in real time. For example, I just finished adjusting the pen size and realized the opacity and the color and the next step of drawing had finished! I had to go back several times each step to follow. It's really frustrating. Also, I don't know why my strokes are lighter in color and I had to draw so many strokes to get the same color. There are several other confusing points that upset me too, but of course, I'm a beginner. Anyway, I really appreciate your effort in making so many wonderful tutorials and your paintings look very nice. Hope I can find some way to follow the tutorials better as I would love to learn from you.
I recommend to people that you use the pause button for each stage, it’s not meant for following along in real time. I used to watch Bob Ross and he’d finish a full painting within about 20 minutes, but rewinding and pause is absolutely necessary.
@@JamesJulier-Artist Thank you. Would definitely try so. Also, I forgot to mention this. I love the fact that you used default brushes rather than trying to sell some fancy customized brushes. As a beginner, I'd really like to try out what has already been accessible, not downloading all the brushes that are not really suitable for me. Keep up with the good work!
Can you PLZZSS DO A MOUNTAIN TUTORIAL ON AUTODESK SKETCHBOOK PLZZZ BTW LOVE YAH DRAWING PLZZZZZ DO A TUTORIAL OF A MOUNTAIN ON AUTODESK SKETCHBOOK PLSSSSSSS😭😭
But my question is should illustrations be so real, that you won't tell the difference if it's a picture or illustrated. Should it not have illustration quality...
Thx for the tutorial. A quick tip if anyone is trying to make realistic moon faster just use the curawang brush from texture

I think you might have a suppressed interest in astronomy - LOL. Great tutorial!!! Thanks.
Haha I do love astronomy, I find the scale mind blowing though
@@JamesJulier-Artist Your passion showed and was lovely to see. Your tutorials continue to inspire me. Thank you so much for doing what you do.
what is your pencil pressure set at?
Nothing precise but I always have a steep incline at the start of the curve so that even light touches make a mark
Help please :(. When I move the color to the center of the circle it just fills the whole page how do I fix that?
Can you show how to insert it into a new landscape piece please?
I’m sure I will!
@@JamesJulier-Artist Thank you very much.

How do you avoid reflection of hand or camera on the iPad screen?
Lights off to the left and the right mainly
@@JamesJulier-Artist Thanks
Why blue and not grey?
I just prefer the look. Sometimes you could really see it with yellow too, but I think I prefer a cool palette
But my question is should illustrations be so real, that you won't tell the difference if it's a picture or illustrated. Should it not have illustration quality...
Sometimes yes
@@JamesJulier-Artist thank you for your reply
E
Dude this is a waste, just make a circle, full it, alpha lock, use Currawang brush from texture
Bet that would look pretty rubbish lol
