Tesco always runs out of food at crucial times of the day, especially during the end of the day when people are getting off work and are looking for something for dinner. Some of the shops have learned to close around 8 at night, partially because of the pandemic, but also because of this bollocks you’re seeing here. I’ve learned to get my groceries delivered from other places, such as Sainsbury and Waitrose.
Just now self service will mean you have to go in the back, weigh and wrap your goods and then check them out. The only workers that will be in the store will be the Managers.

Sadly there have been people to throw hot coffee, soup, etc. etc. on the staff for ludicrous reasons. Cabbage is not out of the question. People are crazy and feel so privileged and in a lot of cases if the staff reacts they could get fired.
