- So last time I made a ranger video in dark and darker, I just said the traps were good and placed them in doorways. What if I could tell you that there is a way to guarantee yourself a free kill and not have to worry about dying ever again. Well maybe it's an exaggeration but this is what I get close to accomplishing in my video. Thanks for watching.

It's called increasing your gamma to the max. DnD actually has very few "true" dark areas that can't be uncovered by maximizing gamma. Goblin caves/ruins have the least amount of "true" dark areas. Crypts has the highest amount. Most veteran players play with max gamma even though you cant see that while they are streaming.
@@johne1986 that actually doesn't work. You can try it yourself with nvidia color settings. I've tried both my monitor's dark boost setting and nvidia settings and it will not boost everything. These dark areas hes hiding is especially around mid on ruins are not boostable.

Ill be honest ive seen a genuine increase in quality of your videos. I hate throwing out these kinds of complements because it feels like bot spam but The videos are getting better and more enjoyable. Getting off work from a job i hate and actually having content that actually holds my attention is a nice change of pace.
I really appreciate it man, I also work full time at a job I hate, so I try to put some quality into the vids so that they perform better. Sometimes it takes away with how much I'm able to play and feels grindy, but I enjoy it. Thanks for watching

I wanna know what build this is... I want to learn how to play the ranger. Yes it's camping but it is a facet of this game that rangers can utilize... Teach me more ❤️
It's a base kit build believe it or not, just traps and shotgun. With gear I believe it can be even better
@@pr0d I'm so going to level my ranger for this so it's better optimized. Have you tried the build with the trap perk instead? Just my two cents on that personally. Unless the "aim" is to maximize damage output of shotgun
