I have no idea what Hero was thinking in game 2. He didnt seem to care about his opponents army comp at all. Hero sometimes plays those brilliant matches and sometimes he morphes into a bronze league hero :p
Sacred Isle is definitely a terran map. You have this diagonal line to siege up on, with a few turrets to work alongside the slow zones to block out air.
i want to see people utilizing the healing shrine for once, but i get it if players don't want to get used to something not used in tournaments. anyway back to vid.
It has pretty limited utility as you have to sacrifice the time it takes to get there and back. It's probably worth it for an early oracle, but not a whole lot else.
2:24 Low settings, hoooooo! I first learned about this playing Counter-Strike Source when someone informed me about the config setting to make corpses immediately disappear. It let me make a lot of I'M SENDING YOU TO THE NEXT DIMENSION jokes on ventrilo.
If I ported a unit like the stalker into an rts, I'd call it a Mantis or something cause it would have alot of M's in describing it. Medium damage, middling size. Medium speed. But have a little cheeky Mobility.
I gotta say I think we underestimated the ripple effects of the patch changes. I dunno how much the overall global winrates changed, but it's been great watching Protoss matches again since the patch and NOT knowing that they were destined to lose the match every single time ...
I’m a big fan of ByuN and in no position to criticise, but damn, definitely not a stellar performance. Only game he took was mostly cause herO messed up….all his plays got shut down hard
Sad to see Winter only has a 4080, the worst selling GPU in Nvidias history. Snagged a 4090 on ebay for $1300 before the artificial supply shortage from Nvidia due to them selling as many 4090's to China before the US ban, and its been a beast.
after more than 10 years watching SC2 ... i still cant understand why the Terran MMM is soh freaking OP. Byuns game is ALWAYS THE SAME with the same strategy since 2016 - basically BIO BIO BIO BIO. And he still wins a lot of games, specially against Protoss. By the way ... protoss tier 1 units are trash compared to terran and zerg.
