  • Patching Metal Holes Without Welding. Having some reservations on what to do next we decide to tackle some miscellaneous tasks.
There are some tasks that take priority and the main one right now is finding a non-welding solution for the holes on the side of the bus that was caused by removing the Stop sign.
We also took on the reflectives on the outside of the bus and attempted to work on a floor plan.

New to your vids and loving them! I started a mini bus build out. Just getting out the seats and the flooring right now. Planning the rust remediation stage and I just found a few holes that I will need to patch. Great upfront advice and experiments. Love that your'e really honest with us and yourself about your experience level. Just subscribed, excited to see more of your work. kudos :)

Great videos as always. Great work and I see the stress level has dropped and with that first bolt installed, you are officially doing the +side of the build. BTW, it is +12'F today or 38"F from the subzero death cold yesterday. Like a tropical popsicle today. BTW, your channel is growing. Your videos are now popping up asap under "recently Uploaded"

about the bondo , for the small holes it works fine , for the big hole you better get something callet kitty hair , it basicly bondo with glasfibre hairs mixed in , makes it structurally a lot stronger
youre probably going to need it to glose the holes up from the top lights in the front and back , you could do the same thing you did on the floor cut craps of metal and gleu it to the inside then bondo over the outside once the gleu is dry
mixing ratio is about a golfbal size of bondo to a peasize ball of hardener , work fast
the thing with the cariagebolts should work ok , you could use rubber rings too , you might be able to use the existing holes when its time to put the roofdeck on

....also, you shouldn't *have* to take out any of the lights. You can't have the wig-wag lighting, and the red in front needs to be changed to either white or amber. When I get to do mine, I'm going to use the holes and wiring to put in white floods.
