World sounds like Bazelgeuse from his own perspective (listen to that pompous fanfair) Rise sounds like Bazelgeuse form a hunter’s perspective (Sounds imposing and belligerent) This strikes the right balance between both, showcasing his ne’er-do-well persona as well as the real threat he poses. Love it!
This is solid, I didnt care too much for the rise version, felt too airy/ too light. But with the og theme it puts some REAL mustard into the atmosphere and gives it more meat

1:30 I would've dropped all the percussion from the Mount and World themes and just let the Rise version stand by itself for this part. I love the vocals in these themes and that choir drop is GODLY!
Agreed surprisingly, usually I find that the themes lack impact in Rise bc of the more subdued instrumentation, but in that one moment the vocals and the riff just take your breath away. Genuinely glorious. Also this isn’t to diss Rise’s soundtrack in any way, I think it has the best OST of ANY mh game, even before its g-rank expansion.
Bazel was always a fun fight for me and i love his theme in rise better than world because to me it feels more terrifying! Just imagine being on an expedition and you hear that choir it gives you a worse feel then he did in world when you hear the theme kick in and i love it so much!
To each our own; I do agree that rise feels more ominous, perhaps even more villainous, but... it just feels... less threatening, to me. It steps up with the feeling of evil but seems to lose the hard hitting impact, the oomph behind bazel. Which is a shame, because they are both great in their own rights but I just can't bring myself to like Rise' bazel theme as much as MHW. it just feels less dramatic.
@@remymabboux6480 Yeah. I personally think that oomph fits the monster better as well, to put it in the words of a certain game music writer "The theme shows that bazel considers himself the hero, when in actual fact he's just an annoying bitch"
Which is why this mashup is so good. Those glorious vocals are backed up by powerful instruments, making it an absolutely kickass theme. Plus, you also did a splendid job mixing the two themes.
Without the vocals, the rise version would be very forgettable. I prefer the rise version overall, but you can’t beat the opening to the world version.
This is the only theme that I prefer over the original, it emphasizes on the godzilla aspect of japanese history instead of actual WWII. Godzilla is a monster created from the horrors and destruction of nuclear fallout. So technically, Godzilla was the first bazelgeuse. The giant and monstrous godzilla theme really fits into bazelgeuse theme
Sure, why not? I've included a GDrive link in the description for a copy of a mountless version. Instead of the mount theme, I just added the original instruments from World.

This version is astonishing. The chanting, the drums, the anvil sounds, this is truly what Bazel is about. Good job dude, this is epic

I like the rise version more, as I think it is more intense and threatening. But the world intro definitely tops rise

The national anthem of “oh here we go again“
I hear it "here we go again"
I can't say the rise one was too great the first one is definitely the one that's going to make you say oh God he's here
I like the new one because of the vocals, but the lack of powerful instruments does make it weaker compared to the world version.

This is the theme of a flock of mad Bazelgeuse full of bombs
0:11 And then everyone DIED!
The rise theme lost the heavy hitting feel of the old version, but I did enjoy the vocals. So seeing the two mashed together is awesome, good mashup
Bazel's World theme will always be my favorite because of the military march THAT THEY REMOVED IN RISE VERSION
every time I hear this theme when I'm hunting with my buddies, we ALL collectively scream it out, almost in unison every time,
"BAGEL-GOOSE!"
🥯
I like how terrifying this theme is , but in my mind when im losing , the proof of hero always plays in my imagination
Now thiiiis is how it’s done
The rise version had some nice aspects but the OG was better over all
But both together it just works wonders
Without the vocals, the rise version would be very forgettable. I prefer the rise version overall, but you can’t beat the opening to the world version.
I think that this is exactly what the rise version of the song needed
God, once you hear it, the ticking of the rise version just adds so much to the song
In monster hunter, you dont slay dragons. The dragons slay you
This is gold man, why it haves so few views
This has the most "JRPG final boss" vibe that I ever heard

Amazing work ya done, as well giving everyone to have it. Ya a great Monster Hunter music mashup artist.
I smell a fan-made Bazelgeuse devient GenU style
World has the impact while Rise has the better buildup I feel

i always preferred the rise version because the vocals make up for it
In this house 🏡 WE LOVE BAZALGEUSE
I miss the violin, but I do love the climax
Very epic
It sound like kaijuu and war at the same time
MH rise ver of bazel boi sounds like Godzilla theme
It's the choir, isn't it?
Would you please make a version without the Mount theme mixed in? It takes away from the mix imo
