my friend loves V BT so she runs both Melody and highlander
being an Accel guy (PM, Shirayuki, Heroes...) I must say the Highlander deck is slightly more of a gamble but good god it's a terror! the g4 gives high defence (14k body), she can fill up her entire field or gain a friggin accel circle with a force marker on it (and another force marker from the VG's gift) plus a protect marker in a single turn (which just got better with Accel II and Protect II giving more options!)

4 ofs is risky as its similar to running 6 different 2 ofs. Its a lot more safe to run a 3 of as its the same as 3 2 ofs and if you already drew one your most likely safe. I would only change this build by running one more copy of sonata and cier as they both fetch your grade 3s and 2 ofs arent that risky depending on how many you have. Love your videos keep up the awesome work!

I have a list of the highlander build with some duplicate cards, I'll post it here tomorrow. Out of at least ten matches, I have only failed to activate the grade 4 skills two times.

Vanguard insider what would you change for this build now that you cannot run sonata and Lise Lott’s together? Would sonata be more important or would liselottes early game be more important? You should make a new deck build with the new support for highlander now that this deck build got ruined.
Now, with the recently restriction list, if i can't play liselotte and sonata together and in the build it's only have 1 copy of Sonata. With what card can be replaced?

the skill is VC: SB2 and until the end of turn all on-hit effects don't require to hit
in standard, mostly the other Melody unit Serena (on-hit, if you have 4 cards or less in hand draw 1) abuses this skill, though the g2 hit-CB1-draw-1 unit also works (Brume)
What about a premium highlander? I made mine with 2 of each giving 10 of each g1-3 then 3 g4. This line up so far gives me a 60:40 chance of activating Aneschka skills.

What does highlander actually mean?
Usually in TCG, it means a deck with strictly only one copy of each card. This deck isn't exactly that, but the G4's relies on checking all normal units with different names, which makes it highlander in skill effect.
If I'm correct the term Highlander comes from a Magic the Gathering format with the same name where the rules are that all cards except for basic lands (in our case triggers) are played at a maximum of 1 copy per deck.
ヨーソローちゃん_16 back in the day, before WOTC decided to release product specifically for the Commander format, the format was called Elder Dragon Highlander. It was made by players to play for fun, and they commonly used cards known as Elder Dragons as their deck's commander, or general. Decks in Highlander are constructed of only 1 copy of any card other than basic land cards, and you can only include cards/lands that share a color with your commander. Decks in Highlander also consist of 100 cards, including the general or commander. Here though, you're still restricted by Vanguard deck building rules

Triple Caro is a consistency nightmare, just run 1 of each Melody g3 and an amie for power.
6/6/4 trigger split gives the best bang for your buck when trying to be offensive and get pieces
Other than that, it's just common sense and tech choices for your g1/g2 lineup
