Anyone notice that this song is tagged for the Sixteen Stone album? Go back a few years, and listen to "Glycerine" from that very album. Then listen to THIS song, and compare the riffs. I think you'll find a HUGE similarity. Not that it's a bad thing, as Glycerine, was/is an absolutely AMAZING song. Welcome back Bush!
Love this song so much. Was feeling so bad, young teacher, lost my superb gf, felt empty though had great friends, played drums, was good-looking, a bit smart and all but I shattered in a million pieces. Disease and addiction. Doctors ;-)
@OrbitStorm yeah, that was my first thought when I started listening to this haha. Not overly impressed with how the whole album came out but, heh, right on.
@OrbitStorm Yeah, but I think that's intentional. It's like an homage. It's a variation of the Glycerine chord structure. Even the palm-muting sound similar.
Bush u fucked up not making this the second single off this record . Or a single at all. This song would have been your 21st century glycerin. WTF were you thinking?
What a beautiful song!!!! The best in the album, along with the sound of winter. WELCOME BACK BUSH!!!
Bush always do excellent ballads. 40 miles from the sun.
Letting the cables sleep.
Out of this world.
Bone driven.
Glycerine.

Gavin needed his brother and mates to cultivate versatility,Best album yet..
