I'm glad I'm watching this portion of the class at home because i can laugh and snicker at some of these digestive topics - I never really grew up after 40 years. I still find toilet humor hilarious. One of my favorite professors was a man by the mane of Lou Stewel.

Professor Fink! First of all I thank you from my core of heart and imagine what would happen if like you instructor in my college. You are so great I never become tired listening even one hrs 2 hrs lecture. I sometime spend whole day listening your lecture. If I have not found your lecture and about you I believe I would be struggling to get the concept of the topic. God bless you I love and respect you!

I wonder if there's any historical information concerning the infection from the 'wiping issue'. Like for example the Romans using running water and rags to wipe. Or modern Med countries who use bidets.

I have a question, at around 37 minutes u talk about having bowel movements and drinking water, or consuming fiber can contribute to a bowel movement. My question is, can fasting for like a day or 2 also contribute to bowel movements since you stated before at 16 minutes, that it takes 24 to 48 hours for the barium ingested through the mouth to make it to the large intestine? I don't know if that makes any sense, it's just something I had in mind.
