Oh as a life long singer I just love David's singing and last year when he came to Tucson, Arizona I sat in the front row and between songs he would chat with us. He is the best and he is so modest and human. Just love him. He constantly sings notes higher than Pavarotti.

Lyle, I saw the post when you heard “Old Holy Night” for the first time ! I actually cried, seeing you overcome with David’s anointed voice and the words that only he can “emote”! I’ve followed David since he was at Baylor University, majoring in vocal performance!! Fabulous interview! He truly is a GEM !! I hope and pray you get to meet someday!!

I was so excited when I saw the title this morning. I'm sure you are going to be the envy of a few people lol. Myself included. However, I am just a listener trying to figure out how I can get to a bash or a concert. It seems another medical thing pops up that dashes my hopes. Not giving up though. I used to pray for this interview to happen. I must admit I haven't been faithful in that respect. Thank you and thank David Phelps for a dream come true ❤

I am just this morning seeing this interview and glad that it happened. I would like for David to do a montage of his early days before Gaither influence,, to see and listen to his singing in his youth He said here he did a concert or stage performance at 18 yrs. old. So even a high school or college video taping would be great to see and experience the early days. Any way you could contact and ask for him to share some of these moments would be awesome.
