Nice video, it’s always interesting to me to actually see the tourist experience . I hope you enjoyed your time here , of course there is way more places and things to explore and discover in Martinique if you have the time to visit, lots of atelier where you can DiY or buy some souvenirs.
I recommend visiting the savane of pétrification, if you like hiking, then you can enjoy the beach 🏖️ after the sweat . Or the cold waters inside the forest of coeur bouliki .
And yes everything is in French 🇫🇷 because it’s literally a French island , of course due to the past , and some current events everything is not * la vie en rose * between France and Martinique .
Our little Jouanacaëra/ Mantinino and our sisters island ex :Guadeloupe , … have a similar relationship with France so people get confused .
yes we are * Caribbean * proud of our diversity and history since the Arawak and Taino , we love the orthers ilsand below and above us no matter the official language and culture similarities or differences , But that doesn’t make us feel less French .
Those few Amerindian native +African descendants and white descendants born here are all equally brothers and sisters , the complete chocolate spectrum so if they have to fight over politics , it’s always hoping for better relations, inclusivity and respect rather than * we just hate each other , white vs black * just like Paris would or Marseille would protest if they had the same treatment.
Hope to see you again 🏝️🚢😘

Martinique is part of France. Its not a territory. When you dock in Martinique you dock in France. The U.S flag flies in Alaska and Hawaii because they are part of the U.S
