Oh we get it. We all want to hug, protect and take care of our precious Till. He might look big and menacing on stage, but from all I’ve heard and seen he really is just a big softie and one of the gentlest souls out there.
Wanting to nurse Till back to health after suffering burns or anything really is a MOOD. The makings of are really interesting, I'm so glad you're doing them and will tune in for them all!
Kudos for including the making-of. It gives you so much insight as you mentioned. This was one of the earlier ones though. In the later ones the band members get to tell a bit more. Beware of their dark humor though, especially Paul and Flake, can tell you the outrageous things with a straight face. Unfortunately there is no making-of of Deutschland which would be super interesting.
Hey! Du Hast has been my favourite song from Rammstein for years... up until Deutschland came out that is! I love your reactions to Rammstein, and thanks to your translations before them, I have a better understanding of the songs and clips overall! Great reaction as always. Love from ya mate in Australia!
I love Rammstein very much, they are the very best band in the whole world ! They are so amazing great cause every one in the is very great, they are so perfect togther and that fits ! The offical video is perfect for this song ! I love Rammstein always and forever ! Greatings and love from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Great reaction and what a great "making of" video, very interesting. I like the original vids, they are usually very good, I love "Engel" the vid is great, also "du reich so gut", Sonne, Links234, Ich Will and many more, well worth adding to your list. Thankyou and take care
i love your reactions from Rammstein ☺️ if you want more informations: there are a lot of making-of videos on youtube from most of the videos. You can see lots of Flake 🤪😎☺️👍🏻 Greetings from germany 🖖🏻
Translating the lyrics of Du Hast correctly is quite difficult because the official lyric is written entirely in capital letters and also lacks punctuation. As you have already noticed, the word hassen/to hate does not appear in it at all. The most important line is, BIS ZUM TOD DER SCHEIDE. Because it is written this way, two translations are possible. One is that it can mean "until the death that separates" or it can mean "until the death of the vagina". For me, this is the main reason why he first hesitates with the answer to her question and then denies it. He does not want a relationship without sex with her.
@@NormanTheDormantDoormat Thanks! With the English version, I always have to think of Flake's story about how he was sitting in a cab in New York and heard this version and thought, "Cool, they even covered us in the US," forgetting that it was Rammstein's own cover.
I think it's good that you also deal with making-offs, they are all very interesting. Unfortunately, there aren't any for "Deutschland" or the songs from the album "Zeit" (yet). I would suggest "Mein Herz brennt", "Rosenrot", "Ausländer" or "Ich tu Dir weh" for the start. It's amazing what Rammstein does an endures for authenticity. Have fun, please let us participate and greetings from nothern Germany
They did release a version where the lyrics are in English...but, not as impactful, compared to the German. Due to the nuance's between the 2 languages. Inflections/tone can make a difference with what the word may mean as well as how it's used. LOL.
du - you du has(s)t - you have/(hate) du has(s)t mich - you have/(hate) me du hast mich gefragt - you have asked me only verse 2 and 3 are ambiguous if you only hear it.
Why are the correct lyrics never translated? It's not always "Willst du bis der Tod euch scheidet..." Go to minute 7.18 in this video Then it's "Willst du bis zum Tod der Scheide sie lieben auch in schlechten Tagen?" That's a little bit different. But no one listens.

They did go for hassen/hate in the english version of the song though.
Great comment as usual btw.

I may have not listened very carefully but it looks to me like one specific line was not translated.
Why are the correct lyrics never translated?

Goes to show why comedians & memes are created making fun of "aggressive" the German language is.🤬 LoL!😄
