    this is by far the most beautiful renovation I’ve seen, and the google document was so informative! I had no idea the polished shine took that many hours to maintain every year! and the budget you did this work on is inspiring too! love the wood work

    I have watched sooooo many Airstream videos, seen so many photos on every sites possible & this is by far the most beautiful trailer I’ve seen. So simple, yet so beautiful. Everything right down to the textures was so thought out. You did a wonderful job!

    You did such a beautiful job of building it. My question: so I'm curious why you sold it? Life changes?

    • @1982MCI
      @1982MCI ปีที่แล้ว

      Because it’s what they do for a business. They aren’t doing this for themselves, they buy, fix, and flip. Very similar to what real estate investors do but for the RV market instead of sticks n bricks homes

      We were happy with the results of our quick sale 😄 Two more on the way! A gorgeous 1960 24ft Tradewind and a 1958 26 footer are rapidly underway.

    Very nice.
    Never seen gas line underneath outside like that. I wonder why?

    • @FalconryTold
      @FalconryTold 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because if there’s a gas leak you want it outside of the Airstream, and easily serviceable, rather than contained within the belly pan.

    How much would one pay for this? I would be interested to buy something this done, built with this aesthetic and design you have come up with 👏👏

      This type of Restomod would range from 80-150k depending on model year (desirability-older is better), length, base labor required and outfitting costs (appliances etc). We just picked up the most darling 1960 24 footer that we are about to start in a very similar but more subtle aesthetic!
