Bro i spent like 10 MINUTES ON MY COMMENT ON THE LAST VIDEO.
TL;DR:
1. Wear a beanie, its soft armour.
2. Gym/training gloves for street skating and suburban bombing helps with rolling on bitumen.
3. Lace you shoes enough that they cant slip off easy so you dont slide outta yo shoe & off the board when you pop
4. Oven is an alternative to microwaving shoes
5. Keep in mind if you shoe goo laces, you cant replace them if they snap where you didn't goo. I shoe goo spots to reinforce some shoes, but keep it away from my laces (i have tonnes of spares)

I managed to let my board shoot out in front of me on a slippery road. I got completely floored, landed on my tailbone. Needles to say, 5 days after that accident, while still in pain, I bought butt pads.
Gotta protect the cake.

lmao the intro I actually got hit by a jeep omw home from getting a pizza I jumped off the board and didn't get hurt, pizza was fine, board was under their wheel but it was fine so I just laughed and told homie he was fine and went on about my day

Another really good hack is rubbing a hot glue stick really fast in the hole or places where a shoe gets worn down bc it’s like shoe goo but wayyy cheaper

i could swear that the wheels in the freezer thing is from rodney mullen.
Rodney Mullen figured out that putting your wheels in the freezer makes them last longer. It affects the urethane. This might only be for the original formula, though. Rodney Mullen does have a PHD in biochemistry, so he knows a lot about chemistry, and should place this one on "the levels of accountability" as PHD.
I think it 72 hrs. or longer in the freezer for it to make a difference.
Shoot, and I was worried about leaving my spares in the garage over winter 😂
It doesn't make any difference.
Try cleaning your bearings with Brake Cleaner, you can just leave the bearings in the wheels on the board, spray some in until it starts to drip, then spin the wheel with your hand (give it a good whirl), they will be perfect every time and much less effort than with Windex.
But then they dont have any lubricant in them
@@DannyGruesome That is also the case with Windex (its also a degreaser), I personally run my bearings without grease, but I apply some drops of chain/sewing machine oil!

Brake cleaner destroys paint and urethane. Not advisable. WD-40 works best for cleaning/degreasing.
I found olmost new it was Indy hollow trucks with Indy hardware with spitfire formula 4 comicals with ceramics Berrigns for 20 $
if anyone tryna clean their bearings you can you acetone too it works really well

4:45 Jamie Foy's bearing trick with the Windex rinse? It's a prank! 😆 Jamie Foy rides Tungsten-coated, Bronson RAWS! If you ride un-coated steel bearings without a couple drops of Bones Speed Cream? You WILL prematurely wear out your bearings for no good reason.

Shoe goo CAN fix a hole in the sole of the shoe... got to let it dry for 24-48 hours or the griptape will destroy it immediately. And it doesnt grip the ground very well if at all depending on the surface you're skating.

Freezing your wheels is the reason that causes flat spots over time. Every since i dont put my wheels inside the freezer i dont ever get flat spots anymore and i already had a few pairs of new set of wheels to prove that logic point.
they also use beeswax and oil to make it slick for street
ShoeGoo and Super glue definitely work on laces… but, when skate shoes were iconic. Unless you have pair “Eś Koston” which you shouldn’t even skate in at this point, it’s cheaper to just buy new shoes! LoL
It is absolutely not cheaper to buy new shoes. A $5 bottle of shoe goo literally lasts longer than a $60 pair of shoes.🤣😭
The windexthing is cool .. I use degreser spray tho it works better. .. NEVER USE DW D40 on ur bearings!!!

Jamie Fiy is the man ! That said please don’t put windex on your bearings. I’m not trying to be a dick, but I’ve skated all my life and I fix airplanes ✈️ for a living.
If you are going to use Windex to clean your wheels and bearings, please apply some type of grease or speed cream afterwards because all you were doing is cleaning off the lubrication that was on it and the dirt. Therefore the bearings are metal to metal and that’s why they’re going faster but you’re wearing the shit out of them.
That’s fine if you’re sponsored, no disrespect to Jamie but I am not sponsored 😂.
You can use Windex but just know bearings last longest and are meant to have a thin layer of grease (speed cream is grease ) plain old high temp wheel grease out of a auto zone will do just as fine as any of the expensive stuff.
Ceramics I can’t say , I’d just follow the instructions that come with them. They are there for a reason. 😂

Using washers and spacers is more important to bearing longevity.
I have a set of old Russian bearings that are about 30 years old. Been running them dry the whole time. I spray them out with WD-40 every 2 months.
Also, speed cream is light mineral oil not grease.
It was RODNEY MULLEN that invented wheel freezing.
I used the winded one and it murdered my bearings bro
Apparently using rubbing alcohol is the way to go. Bones even sells a bottle that you can put bearings in, spin it
WD-40 for degreasing/cleaning.

Feels like the windex trick is put here by guys wanting to sell more ball-bearings. Since u dont mention it, let me: This is a great way to dissolve any lubricant in the bearing. And yeah, they will be faster. Until you have used them for 12 hours and then they will be busted. They might spin badly or not at all.
So use this trick to bust your bearings real fast.
That said, remember to grease those bearings up again, then this tip is fine.
Quite funny with the morgan and morgan ad; cause if one of your bearings seizes at the right moment, I guess the probability you will get hit badly by a car is higher, and that shit is m&m's bread and butter...
Dry bearings are fine. Been doing it 30+ years. Just spray them with WD-40 to degrease them.
Put your bearings in paint thinner. They will scream after.
