Absolutely really enjoyed this post so much thank you. Killybegs is one of my weaknesses amongst many others. Plenty of them old cottages could tell tales of hardship gone by long ago.

Glad Susan was turned off as I saw more of the beautiful countryside. Those fishing boats are gigantic. My friend in Killybegs was in Dublin during storm Bert. I haven’t heard from her and hope the flooding there wasn’t extensive. Thanks for a great tour of this
spectacular area and maybe you made it to Fanad lighthouse before heading home!💚👍☘️

Good stuff don again ,been there on way to sleive league sadly from what I believe that most of those boats be tied up because of EU fishing quotas .absolutely ridiculous that millions of euros worth of vessels cannot fish in their own waters.

Hate to puncture your enthusiasm Don but the Irish fishing industry is decimated because of unfair EU quotas
Please note boats tied up no activity no sign of life no smaller boats.
