Had 23 bags, 31 overflow and 380 packages total the other day for prime. Might have been my most loaded day so far in 8 months of this job in America. Ignored the shelves and stacked the bags three high on top of eachother. Overflow got somewhat organized with the back door as the only access. Work schedule is 10 hour days, 4 days a week with an optional 5th day.
28 bags with 42 overflow over 400 packages this xmas. 182 stops. In january the pay decreased due to peak time being over yet we are still being given 182 stops. My dsp stopped giving me work this week because i only did 142 stops one day. ONLY 142.
My daughter has this last week started doing amazon deliveries - this gives me a good insight into why she absolutely shattered at the end of the day! She has said if she's not skinny for Xmas she's gonna be pissed - I can now see why lol
@@ZacJonesTH-cam yh first day off since she started training last Monday yesterday was her 2nd nursery route. She's not long crawled out of bed and come to me saying my legs hurt my arse hurts my back hurts in fact mum today it just hurts... she'll be more than happy come payday! Lol
I'm 46 n I'm only 4ft 11 n I'm starting probably next week. I've only been driving for two years in a wee corsa 😂😂 Will I sht myself or will I sht myself? 😂😂
It’s not illegal to have parcels in the front bro who told you that, different companies have different policies on it. I think pretty much everybody at the entire Leyland Depot has their tote box on the passenger seat filled with books and letters, hell I even throw my polys down in the floor well with a little space on the first shelf for boxes. 👍🏼
It’s Amazon’s policy bud. I always did it tho fuck em. It’s not them doing 300+ parcels and 180 stops so why should they decide how I load my van 😂 So glad I left the shithole
Don't miss this job at all. Worked as a delivery driver for about 8 months and it's rubbish. Crappy routes, shit bosses , always rushing about to get shit done to the point of getting fines..no breaks, no Holliday pay, no pension,no sick pay, rude customers , other drivers having a go because sometimes you gotta park in awkward places. Getting cold and soaking wet on rainy days, stressful, you can get the sack for so many different reasons and the list goes on and on. When you work for Amazon you just become a peasant with no rights at all.
Found your vids yesterday and they're good man. Was looking at the Amazon work as was looking in to starting this but ended up watching your Mexico vlogs haha. 👌
Once you find ways to make it quicker you can fly through the shift, where i operate you can get asked to go help another driver if they have too many parcels, its expected of you to help out but ill happily help if i get help in return so far ive not needed help
As a delivery drive i always out all mu first stops on the seat and in the passenger footwell. As long as im not obstructing the oassenger mirror or view out the window i font see the problem. Honestly
I work for a massive american postal company (you can guess who) in the UK and I genuinely don't know how you do it... I'm about to quit - the workload is ridiculous. I'm paid well I agree but it's not worth it... You're a legend mate... All power to you
i use same method. to the left i organize the bags and to the right small shelf and under i put all the overflow. and if there are too many bags, i block the side door woth 2-3 bags that i empty first
@@LegendJ0e4 yeah was good, they just put everything in the front so your envelope and book folders in the box, parcels 📦 on floor passenger side and poly bags by the handbrake. I prefer Zak’s method but everyone has their own way - it’s just what you’re comfortable with
Zac what is the website to become an Amazon Prime delivery driver like the vans you drive? Most delivery company’s in London that delivery Amazon parcels have more bad reviews than bad due to payment issues.
Hi mate, can ypu tell me how the interview goes and what sort of questions thwy ask? I have my interview in a few days and quite nervous. Also on the training do you have to take any tests and if so what if you fail? Any help would greatly appreciate it thanks
alright mate are shifts guaranteed? got a drug n alky test on monday for Amazon, it’ll b first delivery job. Am i like guaranteed to work 5 days and is it up to me if i can do Sat/Sun? don’t know if 4 days wages is gona cut it, nice one
Most let you pick how many days you wanna do, they’ll probably want you to do Saturday and Sunday. It’s peak soon so wages are pretty decent during that time

Hi zac do you have to deliver all the parcels you are giving in the morning can you hand some back and have had any experience working in the warehouse thanks.
how much can you make a week am thinking of doing this for some side cash later down the line seen a lot of people saying its rubbish some saying its ok just put the graft in
I am starting my amazon delivery job next week. Do you have any advice regarding parking when delivering. I am new to driving, And do not want to lose points. Thanks

10.30-6.30/7.30
