Yeh getting the gaff in was pretty stressful, could've been a whole differnt outcome easily

Probably more so that unless someone lives in this part of Australia they wont be able to fathom how rediculous a landbased capture that dhufish is.

Achievement........ Is having the target, doing it and returning safely. Gido...... I have huge respect. Used to do a lot of rock fishing in same areas but never imagined anyone would take that further step. Mind you, when I was young, there were no such things as the gear you now use. We just tied ropes to whatever was suitable but it was always damned dangerous. Soft plastics didn't exist then either. Just awesome to watch your exploits. Thanks mate and please take care. Those wet black rocks are deathly.

At 8:35 you said that fish, was a 103 centimeters. That comes to, 40 INCHES LONG!!!!! I wonder what he weighed???? 35 or 40 pounds????
Yeh probably 40lb. We estimated just under 20kg
Doesn’t get any better than that, not many people have caught a dhu that big landbased!! Was stressful watching you gaff it! Might be time for some new pants mate haha

Different colours I’m not sure why put the yellow spots mean it’s a female or juvenile and blue spots mean it’s a male
