No neutral light, I heard somewhere you can start it while in gear by pushing the foot brake and pushing the start button. If the light isn’t coming on it’s neutral switch or ignition switch related. I sold the bike so I can’t verify anything.
@@mickmick6494 Only issue is that ATV was serviced last year, new magneto and they said they put in new neutral switch. Could something come loose or moved ?

thanks for this. mine has been coming on randomly and other times wouldn't come on when it should. turned out to be dirty connecters.

I've checked both of above . Relay clicks but still no light. And won't start with key. Any other advice?

I have a 1999 Yamaha Kodiak 400
Light doesn't come on, you play with shifter and it blinks, if you get it in right spot it comes on. What is wrong?
Most likely the neutral switch, think it might have a blue / pink / grey wire. Might have two bolts securing it.
