" It make holes" love it . Not sure about the movement on the table when drilling a small hole in a piece of wood /

What diameter are the bolts that you use to mount it to the table?

10 or 12 mm. I can check later

It's a piece of shit. the whole shaft wobbles as the chuck is lowered, because of poor machining. Waste of time if it can't stay in the exact place. The laser pointer is also garbage. Most of the time the drill bit blocks it so you can't even see where it's pointed

I have a cheapo Lidl, 5(?) y.o. used occasionally. Guard, made of 1/8" plastic has split. Repaired but split again. Looking for fixes, nada, but in most vids there isn't even a guard. I wear a face shield but am belt and braces person so would like a guard. Not buying a replacement same, and not spending the same or more than I paid for the drill!

@@johncollins8304 Get a face shield like for an angle grinder, and just keep your hands away from the drill bit when operating. The guard gets in the way anyway.

@@johncollins8304 It's only plastic. You can repair with a soldering iron and staples (if you sacrifice the end of the soldering iron bit or have an old cheap one you don't mind keeping for just melting plastic. I fixed many a plastic item, including wing mirrors on my bike with this method. Just push the unused staple into the join and melt the plastic around it. It acts as rebar and gives it more strength than it had before

@@ArcanePath360 Thanks for both replies. The basic problem is the design: as you tighten the bolt at the back so the guard grips onto the pole it's forcing the plastic elsewhere to split apart.
      Thanks again.
I've been meaning for years to repair car body plastic with a plastic welding kit, seen some great vids.

just put it in x 0.5 speed and look that hugeeee play while drilling. Useless for any kind even basic but precision work
