I've watched several Cape Air videos on TH-cam now, and the pilots look a lot older then any other commuter airline pilots I've ever seen in this country! And I got on Cape Air's website and they've won FAA safety awards. Excellent video, thanks for sharing your trip!!
Cool video. My wife and I just took this exact same flight last week, with the same Captain. We were the only two on the plane and there was no co-pilot. Guess that's the difference between peak season and off season.
The prop stops because the shutter speed of the camera isn't fast enough to keep up with the speed of the props which gives an optical illusion of the blades "stopped" . It has nothing to do with the "angle of the blades" as you speak of.

correct.. its a piston (recip) engine
that looks like a neat little plane to fly in...want to take one form BWI-HGR...

Nice video, love the twin 400s, nice birds.
BTW, its a piston-- not a turboprop. =]
how much did that flight cost??
The propeller sims to stop cause of the change of the angle of the propeller......... just in camera u can see it but its amazing cool video..!!!!
lol...oh i see.. I was really curious about that..the copilot seemed like he wanted to take off with the windows open as well..lol
