  • The recipe for The Best Smoked Beer Can Chicken with Crispy Skin. The outcome was perfect and the chicken was extremely juicy. This recipe will far exceed your expectation. You have to try it for yourself. The dry spice rub was as simple as can be, containing just salt, pepper and garlic powder.

    Good video. After popping the top of the beer, use a can opener (the kind with the handles that you crank around the can) to take the rest of that top of that beer can cleanly.

      Try an overnight dry brine in the fridge. Just cover it with kosher salt and put it in the fridge overnight. Uncovered. On a wire rack.

    Can anything on the outside of the can itself contain toxins which will be transferred to the chicken?

    I wonder if a tinnie of cider would leave different flavours on it at all.... compared to a can of New which for all purposes is a pretty bland beer. That chicken looks HEAPS better than the pre cooked ones from coles and woolies

    • @GrillCulture
      @GrillCulture  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you Pontiff. I’m pretty sure a different beverage would change things. I have cherry wood for smoking... and I’m going to see if I can find a cherry Coke and put those two together at the same time and experiment with some smoked cherry chicken. We’ll see 👍🏽

    What’s your opinion on hydrogenated oils like vegetable oil?

    • @GrillCulture
      @GrillCulture  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your question. I know they help raise your bad cholesterol and lower your good cholesterol and you can find it in margarine. I don’t have a lot of contact with hydrogenated oil when I’m smoking and grilling so it’s not something that I think about much.

      @@GrillCulture there’s very interesting information on animals fat benefits vs cooking oils /seed oils. You might find it interesting to do a week long test of just animal fats/butter to see how you respond. I am on my second week of snacking on cow butter and only using lard/tallow and I am very satisfied with how i no longer go for sweets and i am fully appreciating the amount of weight i lost because no depending on sweets/carbs.

    Never supposed to start with smoke. The meat needs to sweat first smoking starts after an hour. Can even see you didn’t get much smoke into the meat. When you cut it.

      He lives in Australia, where rock music is probably more popular than R&B and Hip Hop, especially in the demographic that are old enough to enjoy watching grilling videos. 😅😅
      I'm Australian and I grew up on 80s and 90s Hip Hop like KRS-ONE, Tribe Called Quest, Wu-Tang, NWA, etc.... but a lot of Aussies like rock music.
      Obviously, I don't know if this is the case.... but he might be catering toward his fellow-Aussies with the intro music.
      Or.... rock is HIS preference, and he can play whatever he wants. 😊👍

      Dude.... I just clicked your name to see if you're American or Australian, and now I've got tears in my eyes.
      That video of you and your daughter is equal parts heartbreaking and beautiful, bro.
      She was one of the most naturally beautiful young women I've ever seen. Even though I've never met you.... it's obvious just from that video alone what a great father you were for her. A man whose daughter loves him that much is a great example for young dudes of what a real man looks like.
      I'll hug my own daughter extra tight tonight bro. She's only four, and I'll be proud if she turns out anything like your daughter did as a young adult.
      Respect. 🤜🤛
