Shes not split scaling. Shes dual scaling. Nahida and alhaitham are dual scalers (em+attck). Split scalers are albedo and xinyan (def or attck).

For an off field dps, shes completely unsatisfying. Her dolls barely move and its practicly impossible to notice when they do their damage.
I literally have a C0 Chiori for my Navia team and it works better than the one I had earlier because the only other 5 star geo I had was Itto (Who I didn’t really want…)
I don't have a spare Jade Cutter and my Harbinger of Dawn and Cinnabar aren't leveled. I do have a spare leveled Mistsplitter though. How does it compare?

would itto, chiori, gorou and yun jin work? i’ve been wanting to use yun jin in a team
Unfortunately no, Yunjin is NA buffer, while that's not Itto's main source of DMG. Yunjin is good for Noelle, as she is way more flexible, in contrary to what was said in the video, what was terribly wrong.

If you're not interested in the 4.5 second part and 4.6, and wouldn't mind getting chiori, go ahead and pull on her banner.
Keep in mind that trying to single out a 4 star is dangerous and not guaranteed to succeed in doing so
Serious issue in how team options were presented. Telling that Itto has more flexibility... uhh... No, it's the other way around. With Itto you need to go for Zhongli or survivability from other element that rather provides nothing. Cause no, +20% ATK buff is pretty useless on characters like Itto or Noelle. Meanwhile Noelle can... use same options if you want, like Zhongli, but ALSO - stack OFFENSIVE options, like go with both Chiori and Albedo, or GMC, or Ning with geo buff, can hold TTDS for even more ATK buff if you really want. Or instead of buffing Chiori with construct you can put Furina there, or Fischl, Yelan, Xingqiu, etc. Noelle and Itto are like day to night in terms of flexibility.
Someone have already mentioned in the comments that dual scaling is not split scaling and please don't confuse those next time, cause those are two MUCH different things. Chiori has split scaling indeed - but split is only between her NA&CA, so for on-field - those scale based from ATK only, vs skill and burst - those have dual scaling from ATK and DEF.
You forgot about Qiqi. She is the best user of Clam set, as she is best healer in the game.
I can already 36 stars the abyss without Neuv. Is it safe to pull for characters that I like even not meta like Chiori? I've always been a geo fan.

Been 36* for ages and now im playing random ass teams, soloed floor 9 with keqing and deyha, meta sucks if you dont need it
I have been 36* the abyss 5 months after i started and till today never used meta characters.(
( i only have Nahida and furina not for the meta purposes but because i collect all the archons)
I always find Meta characters boring and wishing for those i like its way more fun

One thing that confuses me is the difference between split and dual scaling 😵💫 if Nahida, Alhaitham, and Chiori are split, is Xinyan dual? Or does scaling terms apply only to the skills and not to the character as a whole… 😵💫 or maybe both…
Nahida, AH, and chiori are all dual scaling.
if you look at the skill screen they use both atk+another stat for the scaling.
But characters like albedo and xinyan only use one stat for particular skills. That makes them split scaling because different skills use different stats.
Having two terms like dual scaling and split scaling is a very clear way of explaining it like @alexanderluna4598 commented.
I use split scaling for both scenarios (specific skills and whole characters) because people understand regardless most of the time.
Im a Noelle main, what should I prioritize? getting her Ittos weapon or getting her Chiori as a teamate?
I would say Chiori over the weapon, tho it's similar in terms of wishes to get a C1 Chiori (which is higher in dps) and the Itto's weapon.
At least with a C0 Chiori you can improve a bit your damage when you get nothing else if you don't get the Itto's weapon
Depends on whoever is your waifu or at least the top of your waifu list.
Depends on your claymore situation. R5 Serpent Spine is only a little bit behind R1 Redhorn Stonethresher, while just an R1 Serpent is already a solid upgrade from R5 Whiteblind. Because Noelle has two accessible claymores with Serpent for low spenders and Whiteblind for F2P, I think a C0 Chiori usually is the safer play since weapon banners are expensive. If you're struggling with claymore options or just want drip for your Noelle there's nothing wrong with going for a weapon, but preferably if you can guarantee it through fate points worst case scenario.

I did a 30 pull in Chioris banner expecting her to come home since a have 30-40 pity in, but i got scared so did a 10 pull on the weapon banner thingking if i get the sword then i will go for chiori, funny enough in my 1st 10 pull redhorn tresher came home. i was happy tho since it can be useful for both noelle and dehya. Im still near pity but scared to lose to another dehya so i think imma save my primos instead
@@erasedsilence Absolutely NOT. Chiori is pretty meh, while Redhorn is a big deal for Noelle. For any team more focused on her damage it's close to a must have. Since the more DPS of a team is focused on one character -> the more important investment and weapon on this character is. Noelle is not top strong... You need high investment. Then, most value of Noelle comes from her flexibility, from taking characters like Furina or Fischl on her team. What helps in various scenarios, like shield breaking. That's what makes her more valuable than super restricted Itto. Chiori provides very little to Noelle. Just geo sub-dps that won't help you in specific situations like other characters, it's meh, whatever, bottom priority investment. PLUS - Redhorn is universal great weapon, you can put it on Diluc or Beidou, for example.
i hate how people compare two characters who are vastly different. for example you cant compare diluc to someone like neuvillete because they both work differently but if you compare characters like alrechino and hu tao or chiori and albedo is good because they roughly do the same thiing
If I can change one thing to Chiori's kit, it would be to make Tamato follow the active character around.

I say chiori and albedo works better together,plus albedo is better AOE and don’t relay on other units for his damage,and I still say albedo is a far better geo battery

I haven't done any calcs of the weapon not on Chiori, nor have I seen anyone else do calcs for other characters, but I think probably Furina, Alhaitham, Keqing, and Albedo are probably good users of the Uraku Misugiri. All these characters deal a lot of normal attack and/or elemental skill damage, and often have a geo character on their teams to make full use of the weapon's passive.
about that, had 3 jade cutters on my account due to the Nilou banner lol
