The message series on offence is timely. The Holy Spirit wouldn't lay it on your heart to share it if we didn't need it now and in days ahead. Thank you sir for following His lead. God bless you.
The gospel will always be a stone of offence to those who are perishing but to suggest that the Apostles died because they deliberately set out to offend people is completely wrong!
To suggest that the Apostles died because of offence simply means Jesus died because of offense! I believe you've muddled the water here! Please kindly read Christ's message to the 7 churches again!
@@ao4514 Thank you for taking out time to listen to the message. On the apostle’s death, I believe you must have read Luke 21:17-19 where Jesus promised, even though they will be hated, not a hair of theirs will be lost, but they have to be in charge of their souls. Did the word of God fail? Please take time to listen to the whole series of offense and get a broad picture and may the Lord give you understanding. God bless you.
@@atubogeorge7192Matthew 10:30 is a parallel passage. Context and the rules of hermeneutics are always key when reading the scriptures. BUt offence must surely come but woe unto him by which it comes!
At what point do we "contend" for the faith?
But Offence must surely come!
It is how we handle it by not seeking revenge that matters!
We must never demand our daily bread but only ask for our father in heaven knows what we need!

It's not offence that killed John the Baptist . You've missed the context being explored in the scriptures here!
