In Gwyddion, we get effective area which is greater than the active area(measuring area; 5x5 um for example)... I hope that is sufficient to get the increased surface area of surfaces having nanostructured topography...
Thanks. This is quite an informative video. I am unable to open different files from same folder, even if I select different it opens the same file i.e. first one. Any idea how to fix it?
Sir what one should do to remove the effects of noise due to vibrations from the image i am facing this issue. And after processing from GWIDYON image will be saved in which format?
Removing vibrations, smoothing.. all these things will change your originality of the data... Not recommended to do that, since it is a data manipulation... Also.. the things cannot be done with jpg
@@JeyadheepanKI am using Nanosurf AFM and file saving format is .nid what should i do to save the scan in 3D in jpg without losing originality and also to reduce noises vibrations etc
Thank you much for the crisp and knowledgeable video
thank you.. but how can i set the scale? nm or Micro meter?
Thank you sir. All the steps are clearly given.
Hello, thank you so much. area surface = area of all particles?
Yes they are
@@JeyadheepanK ok thank you very much sir
hello i have a txt. file and i cant open it with gwyddion . any solution ?
NO instruments give txt file
What should be the format of the file to be opened ...is it Tif file of jpg/jpeg

Yes, you can
This video is clear and helpful. Thank you.
Thank you for your lesson, btw, your video sound was too low, Good video indeed
It was quite an informative and helpful video
How to calculate grain size and it's histirogram using gwyddion software
Thank you very much. It's very for me.
good explanation Sir, thank you
Is it possible to calculate surface to volume ratio of grains and film using Gwyddion

Thank you my good sir
great video
First, thank you for this video. I have only a question. Is this analysis in the software sufficient for publishing?
Yes sir... This is more than sufficient just from AFM images
Nice Video Sir, Thank you very much. How to get RMS value?
You can find the RMS value of roughness in the statistical parameters...
good work
Very helpful.. thanks a lot
For the 2D image save.
Thank you sir
You are welcome
