Is the home built on a foundation or a slab?
Why not use adobe bricks ?
Energy code
Passive solar design requires less energy but zero windows, just tubular skylights saves more. Why no water retention? What R-value do you have? Adobe does everything SIP does. Is it cheaper? Did you do a cost analysis?
What are you talking about zero windows ?? The whole concept of passive solar is window letting in heat !?!?

You could have built an earthship and it would have been more energy efficient, self sustaining and logical.
It looks like a lot of unhealthy toxic materials. Glued ply wood...
It’s true. Natural alternatives could be straw, scoria, or hempcrete. It’s challenging to build something as energy efficient and easily as with SIPs using natural materials, but possible if you are dedicated.
@@rowannadon7668 yes I live in the east coast and I can't find a builder at all to build me a Cob home for something close to it
Superadobe is a much better alternative.
