    Great music choice. It looks like the place to film a spaghetti western. This line doesn't have to worry about fallen gum trees and blackberry bushes.

    Definitely by far the best rail car I’ve seen. Most of them are just a cheap piece of plywood tiny little wheels. This is high-quality stuff.

    They still have some hand car set-offs, along the track, for you to use in case an excursion train approaches.

    looks like a Ron's rail rider to me by the wheels. Loved doing this for years starting 30 years ago. Nice to see you are still at it.

    The only problem I see here is that these tracks are not abandoned at 1:46 you can see the silver top of the rail as the sun reflects off of it still pretty cool though

    Looks like you coulda kept going. I see you only had tools, what about extra gas, you never when your gonna need it. I jus love this rail road riding abandon lines, thanks for sharing this, keep it up👍👍👍

      Allan Cron the line is used by the Nevada northern railway museum. They operate all summer and late fall. I got permission to ride on these rails.

      Thanks for that good to know it is still used by trains from the Nevada northern rail museum, I hate to see rail lines either completely abandoned or even worse pulled up, so short sighted removing rail infrastructure I always think , once again thanks for great video and for your reply,

      It's between Ruth, Ely and McGill Nevada. Starts near Ruth then heading East towards Ely. The 2nd part is heading North from Ely towards McGill.

    I see from the plate on the back of the sea that you too are from Boise., If you ever want to ride the Thunder Mountain line from Cascade to Horseshoe Bend, let me know.

      Brian Fedline, I just saw your comment. I would be interested in riding that line. Do you work for the Idaho Northern Railway? I have talked to them and hadnt had much luck. the line is currently in fair shape except for rock slides and down trees.

      @@klaus9714 More track is seen beyond the gravel road . How far I have no idea . A shovel and hoe should take care of "road maintenance" for the ambitious .

      Marlene wants to fight! -- Well i don’t know if this is a troll or not but i just noticed i said 350 and not 360 😂. So to make a 360 VR video, there are many companies out there who make these cameras... Some very affordable and some very expensive. Im partial to Insta360... wide range of cameras and prices. But there are a lot of companies that make very good and affordable cameras. Simple to operate and do a great job.

      Gary Jones the rail road is still in operation. The NNRy has several steam engines and a couple of Diesel engines. They do tours to Ruth all the time, and in the winter they go
      On Polar Express excursions. The railroad north of McGill is mostly abandoned though, and the highway department paved over the tracks at Currie

    End of the line , okay ,but where this rail line was going anyway ? Didn't see any station or dwellings or farming nearby !

      Devendra this is the end of the line today. Originally the line ran further into the big smelter where the ore was deposited and smelted. This was a railroad the hauled tons of copper ore and pure copper.

      You should always ask for permission to ride from the owner of the railroad. I had permission from NNRY to ride here. Any railroad is private property.

    How do you find out what tracks you can ride? I live in Michigan and know several but don't even know if its legal. would be a fun hobby this year all considering.

    How many miles ? Is tor that a Briggs & Statton, Tecumseha, Honda 3.5 or 5 hp ? Liked 🎶 👍

      Mark Stengel it is a Brigss and Stratton 5.5 HP. There is 8 miles one way and another line that is 11miles.

    Are you able to give me any information on where this particular track is located please? My father has a really sweet speeder and he and I are looking for some abandoned track in Nevada that is open to rail fans .       Milspec Machine there is not much abandoned lines in Nevada. This video is from the Nevada Northern Railway. Not sure if they will let you ride. I volunteer there and have permission. They don’t always let people ride.

      The ride is smooth. The end of the line is where I stopped tracks were removed years ago. At one time it led the the mill where the copper ore was dumped and processed.

      tootall287 the highline ends where I stop riding. The rail is removed just past that dirt road. McGill is just around the corner about half mile.
