I do agree, but I feel like roblox survived due to it being like a combination between unity, steam and club penguin and being easy to develop for due to lua and it's vast library that new developers can look through to learn theyr engine. Plus another reason, big reason, is that roblox relies on user generated content to survive and make money.

I love how you mentioned that things need to change over time, like in Roblox, but I'm a big fan of old Roblox. If they're going to make updates, why not create the ultimate update where users can choose the year of Roblox they want to experience? This would truly put an end to Roblox revivals and could even revive Roblox itself by bringing back users who quit because they miss the simplicity and retro feel of old Roblox. I personally love the 2011 and 2017 versions of Roblox!

well its not really the same, this game is fueled by users rather than its actual featues, and it works in its own engine, so very different than the others
The engine and tools provided the developers change though and they have changed drastically. Not only that but the platform has made major changes itself. If you don’t think so then you simply don’t know what you’re talking about. DevEx was a massive addition that brought quality across the board up. Adding mobile brought in a ton more players. UGC allows more ways for creators to contribute and allowed more unique avatars. There’s a lot more, but I’m sure you get the idea.
