I don't know why people hate on this guy. He seems to be a really good person and he plays great. Do your thing Joe and forget the haters they're just jealous.
I don't know someone who hates Joe Bonamassa. I know everyone loves his work. I am very much admired him for such as talent he has. He is a great guitarist and I will call him Virtuoso musician.
I believe he's the best guitarist even though Joe believes BB King is the greatest. I was at his concert at the Red Rock Amphitheater Aug. 2024. I never tire of listening and watching his fingers glide magically across the guitar strings with his body absorbing every note he plays.
Joe is firing on all cylinders, hard man to do anything with on that guitar. You might play with him for a minute but when Joe grabs 2nd gear, look out because hes coming thru
Always does his own thing, based on his back catalogue of influences. If you don't understand where he's coming from, you won't feel it. Joe doesn't try to be Jimi Hendrix, he is just himself, putting out there the vibes he's picked up over the many years he's been on his musical journey. Enjoy.
He used to turn me off coz he looks so straight , BUT , unlike most shred capeable guitarists , he has good taste , light & shade , slow and fast and he,s a damn fine muso !
You can really see him work that same Strat on "Motherless Children" (the Clapton tune) during the British Blues Explosion tour. At about the 3/4 point of the song (and in a solo) he drops the 3-way selector into the half-way sweet spot between the bridge and middle pickup, gets plenty 'o quack from that Strat too!
If I hire local. I may get into4-5 grand. I'll bring both him, n zepperilla. N go 7-10k. I don't care!. I just love to see everybody have a good time!...
He's a great guitarist, no doubt about that. However he can't sing to that same level. He's no SRV by any stretch. Those kinds of gut-wrenching, desperate, bone-chilling, primative-like emotions DO NOT come out in his singing like SRV. And don't get me started on the overrated Clapton...😁
I don't always listen to Joe, but when I do, so do my neighbors.
People hate on him? Ugh, if they do they are just haters, this dude is one of the best ❤

Ain't no reason to hate unless you are jealous. He doesn't conform to the big moguls of mudic. He is his own man and they can't stand it.
@@pamelacairns289 One hundred percent write
Hes a nice guy and a awesome musician and why people would be so jealous, to hate on some one they dont even know is a mystery to me

Some of the best drivin tunes I’ve heard since the days of long tunes .. 16 + minutes puts this one up there !
Never read anything derogatory about him. This musician knows his shit.
He does not conform to no box. He just does what he feels.
I've seen Joe three times now. He's brilliant. If you don't like his music ,then you have no soul. Just feel sorry for yourself.
Amazing sound and video excellent guitar play

Nice capture of visual and sound. Thanks for posting.
Joe and Gary are my most favorite guitarist and musicians...
And you don't even have to say Gary's last name. We know.
C'est le David Gilmour

Simplement Superbe.
Mes salutations depuis Valparaiso du Chili.. !!

He got that SRV tone on this one. Another great night at the office Joe !
The tone comes out of that single coil strat is superb.
I love single coils + distortion.
I do this the first day of summer, n lasr. My birthday.
He's a custodian of true rock guitar playing.
He's got great taste this guy
Nice version
still the best
Sublime…
I have to finally go see him and see what's the big fuss. Based on what I see man seeing beck and Joe doing something together wow
Yeah... ❣️
Joe can do everyone's music but I'm not sure that anyone can do his music
Is that an Eric johnson signature strat he’s playing?
💯
Im going to play him, zepperela!.
He used to turn me off coz he looks so straight , BUT , unlike most shred capeable guitarists , he has good taste , light & shade , slow and fast and he,s a damn fine muso !
I really enjoy Joe’s misic but when you can’t understand anything he’s singing, well….
Hes algood just wish hed sing more,, He is the nu Eric clapton
Hey..now 31.5
The guy's playing a guitar with single coil pick-ups,.... interesting......Way to go....Joe......
I think that's an original '54 Strat he has had for a few years now, still has the original 3-way switch too.
You can really see him work that same Strat on "Motherless Children" (the Clapton tune) during the British Blues Explosion tour.
