No matter who is the Bears GM, they don't seem to know how to evaluate QB talent. I said Daniels was special and I'm not a Scout and obviously not a GM.
People will say look who Daniels has. Like who? Peters did his due diligence. DQ did his due diligence. Kingsbury passed on the OC job with the 1st overall pick because they forced Caleb on him. Guess what? He did his due diligence. This wasn't an accident.
You can see him hesitate to throw the ball at times, like he's second-guessing what he's seeing. He's not very calm in the pocket either, which is probably because he's seeing "ghosts". I remembering seeing the same thing happen to RG3 after he came back from his injury. He would hesitate and hold onto the ball too long instead of just letting it rip. Everyone kept blaming the coaches and the OL, but that wasn't the case. This feels eerily similar in that sense.
That Patriots defense is average, and don't come at me and say they're one of the best in the league, no they're not. They don't have one of the best anythings in the league.
You’re right this defense is pretty average across the board, actually below average against the run. I do know one thing they have that’s good. Drake Maye. The QB the bears should have taken.
Caleb Williams is now: 32nd among NFL QBs in completion % (60.5); 30th in yards per pass attempt (6.1); 26th in passing yards per game (198.3); 28th in both QBR (38.4) & passer rating (81.0); 23rd in passing yards (1,785); and 1st in sacks allowed (38). Jayden Daniels ranks 9th, 7th, 20th, 4th, 9th, 11th & 17th, respectively.
I'm a Bears fan, and the hype mirage around this joker, this fraud, has been insufferable. Not to mention his arrogance that he tries to hide. He's so obviously mentally brittle and not physically impressive at this level. Even in college his teams never won anything and he didn't care because everyone assuring him that HE wasn't the problem. He was the wrong choice. But we're stuck with him for at least two years after this one. I'm hate watching, because i enjoy watching him fail
Guys! Peyton Manning threw 31 interceptions his rookie year. The biggest problem is the extreme hype. People were picking the Bears to go to the Super Bowl, and that was not going to happen with a rookie qb. Too many Bears fans bought in to that and now there is disappointment. You moved off one flawed qb to a rookie, which is it's own type of flaw. We could play, woulda, coulda, shoulda all day and night, but let's get a couple more pieces on the O-line and a top qb coach and see how he develops. There really isn't many other options. Good luck Bears fans, but not against the Lions. Just neutral luck then.
This is what you get when you already had a franchise QB that you just needed to build around and had ALL the capital to do so but chose not took... we could have traded that #1 pick. In this draft we could have took Alt, Fraizer, Odunze, a top DE in the draft and still had 2 1st round picks in 2025
Agree. Brett Favre said: "[Count] 1,2,3, put it on him" (meaning hit the receiver by a quick 3 count). A QB has to immerse himself in his offense to learn that & do it. The off schedule stuff is nice but can't make a living at it.An NFL QB must play fast & do everything fast to succeed. Thise who can't have warts that their teams are constantly trying to cover.
In the preseason, we saw Caleb running around making wow plays. Some thought, "OMG this guy is going to ball out when the season starts". I thought to myself, "Oh shit", the Bears are toast with this guy once the real bullets start flying. Why is a QB running around in the preseason against vanilla defenses? Why is every drop back an adventure with this guy? Then i thought of a QB named Taylor Heineke. Taylor couldn't run an offense on schedule to save his life. And Caleb strikes me as the same type of player. Its a personality thing IMO. You're not going to change Caleb's style. He thrives in chaos. They're trying to normalize him to NFL QB play. But you see that its not working. He' so focused on "sitting" in the pocket like a normal QB. As a result he's just paralyzed in the pocket. He doesn't even move his feet. These games coming up against divisional teams are going to epically embarrassing. You may want to fly out to Pittsburgh and wine and dine Justin back.
You do know that QBs are taught to have calm feet in the pocket? You take a drop, set your feet and throw. This isn't Rocket science, but I guess it is for people who know nothing about football.
The Preseason was overblown. He was 10-20 in the preseason against vanilla defenses. Take away a couple of throws and a TD run and he was underwhelming in the preseason. Matter of fact, it's what we have been seeing all season. He two good games was against bad teams and when he plays against teams that play him tough, he struggles.
@@NirvzHD there they go! Those they say “you know nothing about football”….knowing nothing about football. Watch some film and get off Calebs crotch (putting it lightly).
i didn't like caleb coming out of college from the get go, but peytons rookie season was literally the worst setting the record for most interceptions in a season.
Even with that many interceptions, Payton threw 26 TDs and had 3700 yards passing with a ~57% comp. Caleb has 8 games left - if he continues to perform like the last 3 games... Idk if bears fans want to watch 😵💫
@@BZman7 Biggest difference imo is they let Petyon go out there and sling it he had some truly horrific games but he was doing a lot of things caleb was doing in terms of running the offense and trying to control the line of scrimmage. We saw the same hesitation with Justin on his drop backs when and we're seeing it now with Caleb, constant pressure will do that but I think the Flus effect has to be discussed more. If it happens once people blame the QB but twice you'd have to start thinking that Flus is emphaisng ball security over letting these dudes play how they play.
Being a Bears fan really sucks. I was harsh on Fields when everyone was making excuses for him about coaching and the line, and now Caleb is having the exact same problems. Indecisive, inaccurate, and wasting the defensive talent around him. I genuinely can’t tell at this point if we can’t develop qbs or if we just can’t scout and literally pick the wrong guy each time. Either way we’re cooked.
Probably because we could’ve built up the roster in the short-term. But Justin just isn’t good enough to lead a team far. Old Russell Wilson is better than him. At some point the bears need to find a legit qb.
@@chrisk3405 Disagree. The problem if you want to call it that is...Justin was thinking too much instead of just playing. My guess thank Tomlin for that because you could tell they were telling him to not make a mistake instead of just playing. I believe if they would've kept him in there he would've eventually found a rhythm with Pickens. Last year, it took him awhile to get going with DJ, but once they got it going, they became a great QB/WR combo. It's not that Russ is playing better, he's finding Pickens more. With Justin, he was connecting with everybody else but Pickens. Don't be surprised if they have to go back to Justin at some point. Russ isn't what he used to be.
Regardless of how well CW does over the rest of his career in the NFL, it will never live up to the level of hype he had coming in. Being more of a college football fan myself, the least two years all your heard was that Caleb was a "generational" talent, that he's Mahomes 2.0. Even NFL analysts were saying the same thing, which blew my effin mind. How can a short, not super-duper fast, QB with a meh arm be considered generational talent!? I mean, he's mobile - but not Jackson level mobile, or even Mahomes for that matter. And yeah he has an okay arm, but it's definitely not above average, combined with not being extremely accurate. And to add to it all, though he's short - he's not built like a brick house to off set it, so he's pretty dam easy to tackle. There were tons of guys i woulda wanted over him, even before we had a chance to see what he's been doing lately, whether that be Jaden, JJ (yes, even though he got injured), Bo, or even Maye. And that's just this draft, let alone previous years' drafts - so how can that guy be considered generational. There are plenty of guys who can do everything he could, or at least close to everything, while then also being 2 inches taller with much stronger and more accurate throwing arms. He still could pan out into a very good pro QB, but generational???? - Oh PLEASE!
Thank you! The Chicago sports radio media will continue to cover for CW no matter how many coaches, offensive coordinators, or linemen they go through. They will never admit that they were wrong to hype this physically average and mentally fragile QB. Character matters and the red flags were being waived by his college teammates.
@@Ardyrezv A Bears fan told me, that CW might not be able to complete passes during the game, or hit the deep ball but in the 4th quarter he shows up when it matters... I told him he just described Tim Tebow.
Dude, he got sacked 9 times and literally didnt get to his 3rd read once during the game due to the intense rush that was on him. Thats a breakdown of the line and the coaching staff not knowing what adjustments to make.
This isn’t Caleb’s fault he’s not been properly developed and I put that on the coaches. Eberflus is not a good coach because he’s not a leader. This team does not respect or believe in the head coach. There’s nothing Caleb can do to overcome the bad culture so stop blaming him. I 100% blame the coaching for the team’s failures and if you can’t see this your just an ignorant casual fan boy.
After he lost in college and was crying in his mom’s arms. That’s the moment I knew I didn’t want him as a franchise QB. Bench him and see what Tyson Bagent can do with this pass catching group. You have too much invested to not know. Sit him on the bench.
Another good video Mister Truth. You and Ghost of Judah Tribe are the few in the Bears Community that aren't afraid to say it like it is rather than try to protect their fragile-ego QB. I actually don't think that Caleb's ego is fragile, it's more that they all coddle him like a little baby and afraid that his confidence might get shook. These guys are professionals, they can handle it just look at Bryce Young.
I predicted he’d be a bust for 1 reason. During his college career had a losing record vs top 25 teams, with pedestrian stats. I’m talking more inceptions than touchdowns. He’s more Dak than Pat.
Burrow went to the Super Bowl with the worst oline in the league. Btw he had a 13 qbr against NE. That means they put a lot of those sacks on Caleb lol
I don't think its Caleb Williams, I think its the Chicago Bears organization!! I think Chicago is a QB destroyer.. I've been watching football for over 40 years, and I've never seen the Bears with an elite QB.. I've only seen two above average QB's for Chicago in my lifetime, Jay Cutler and Jim McMahon.. I was hoping Caleb Williams was good enough to break that cycle, but it appears that Chicago has ruined another QB.. You cant blame Caleb williams when the organization has consistently shown an inability to develop a QB
Anyone who watched his last year at USC knew he cant throw in the pocket and his only skillset was avoiding defenders that wouldnt get in the NFL if each roster had 150 spots
Not watching another Bears game unless they put in Bagent! Bagent is 10 times the QB Galeb is! Big Bears fan but i am done. Especially when they have a good QB just wasting away on the sidelines
Yeah but midseason during Mahomes' rookie season Andy Reid was considering benching Alex Smith, who was having a career year for Mahomes, and now you see why. You should've seen Mahomes in college. With that said, yes most rookie QBs struggle, but remember he was supposed to have generational talent, the best situation ever for a rookie, blah blah blah. His style of play doesn't translate to the NFL. Unless he changes his play style, he will fail.
The Bears are a mirror image of NE. That line is so awful there is only so much you can do, and yesterday was the worst I've seen it for the Bears, and the Pats had a couple games like that earlier on but have gotten somewhat better. We have the same issues with the bonehead OC as well and sketchy head coaching decisions. But nine games in the Pats have won 2 of three and easily could have won the third game, their OC is looking better since he has an actual QB and the defense looked like they cared yesterday. If I were a Bears fan, my concern would be Williams mental toughness, he looks defeated after every bad play. We don't want him running into the stands looking for his mother.
Caleb Williams is not the problem. He can’t do anything with this offense. You guys are asking so much of a rookie, Jayden Daniels is great and as of now was the better pick in hindsight. People blame Caleb but blamed the bears when it was J. fields… give me a break
I saw some bears fans and talking heads at ESPN comparing Celeb to Mahomes before the season started 😂 They are still making excuses for him today. They need to bench his sorry ass for a couple of seasons. Hes not ready and might not ever will be.
I'm a lifelong Bears fan. I wanted them to take Maye. I thought Daniels was too scrawny and was helped by 2 elite WR prospects...it looks like I was wrong on that. I agree with much of your analysis, albeit it its a bit harsh after 9 games as a pro. He has elite arm talent. I'm still hopeful that the can be coached up to he can maximize his God given abilities.
Caleb is not the problem ,the line is not giving him any protection ,we got players not catching the ball coaches are fucking trash it was the same thing with fields everyone said he was trash .BUT HE WASNT .he left Chicago him game went up

Yeah but RG3 had a devasting knee injury which makes it look worse for Caleb.
"Generational."
That Patriots defense is average, and don't come at me and say they're one of the best in the league, no they're not. They don't have one of the best anythings in the league.
Im a patriots fan from boston, Christian Gonzalez is pretty freaking good
Don't fucking come at me and say that, because that's not true, and you know it's not true.
You’re right this defense is pretty average across the board, actually below average against the run.
I do know one thing they have that’s good. Drake Maye. The QB the bears should have taken.
i don't know what people seen in this guy ... but what i seen of him in college ... this does not surprise me in the least ...
I'm a bear and lsu fan. I wanted Daniels so bad... see why lol
He wanted to own a piece of the team lmaoo
I'm a Bears fan, and the hype mirage around this joker, this fraud, has been insufferable.
Not to mention his arrogance that he tries to hide. He's so obviously mentally brittle and not physically impressive at this level.
Even in college his teams never won anything and he didn't care because everyone assuring him that HE wasn't the problem.
He was the wrong choice. But we're stuck with him for at least two years after this one. I'm hate watching, because i enjoy watching him fail
I’m a bears fan too and don’t get me wrong I couldn’t be more disappointed in Caleb. But rooting for your own qb to fail is kinda insane
@chrisk3405 I don't have to root for his failure, he just fails and I enjoy the schadenfreude
@ Fair enough. I doubt it gets any better this season.
@@bk138gt6what kind of loser roots for someone they don’t even know to fail? Your life that miserable?
Bagent is the chosen one
As a Bears fan I’ll take Maye over Williams. Kids an overhyped Bust! ⬇️⬇️🐻
U juss have issue with blk qb lol
@@satisfyingplug7076 no we are just sick of shitty qb play
This is what you get when you already had a franchise QB that you just needed to build around and had ALL the capital to do so but chose not took... we could have traded that #1 pick. In this draft we could have took Alt, Fraizer, Odunze, a top DE in the draft and still had 2 1st round picks in 2025
Could have had brock bowers and jayden daniels!
They should put Tyson Bagent in this coming week
I said it when Bears drafted Williams, ANOTHER USC QB BUST
Time for Tyson Bagent.
Anticipation and ability to quickly read and make adjustments at the line of scrimmage are the skills that made Brock successful and Caleb a failure.
They don’t give anyone time to develop anymore either
19-3 And you can't get one TD CALEB?! PATHETIC! Also I like Swift, but in the first quarter her missed opened holes.
He misses the holes quite often. No wonder the eagles let him walk
aaron rodgers is the worst @mister truth
But arron Rodgers won a superbowl will be In the hall of fame ,he's just old and washed now
Aaron is bad, but Daniel Jones is the worst QB, he lost to the panthers!
That was dope homie. U snapped. Much love from the Chi.
YOU GUYS REAP WHAT YOU SOLD😂😂
Even with the injuries the line is bad GM Poles did a bad job building a line also Rome the 9th pick probably should have been a offensive lineman
at this point the line doesn't even care they have a trash qb
"But but but hes better than Jayden"
Love the uploads bro keep up the hustle 🙏
😂
Facts my guy. Bring back jf or hell, even give bagent a try for once this season
i didn't like caleb coming out of college from the get go, but peytons rookie season was literally the worst setting the record for most interceptions in a season.
Look at that, didn't take as long as I thought for bears fans to turn on the rookie that was supposed to be so good for them
Being a Bears fan really sucks.
Wokey Poles picked the wrong QB. HE WANTED A WOKEY CULTURE. NOT A WINNING CULTURE. 😂
@@NOTREALLYHANKAARONJD thanks god after every game. Was that why he wasn’t #1?
@@NOTREALLYHANKAARONwhite QBs aint the answer. Go take a nap grandpa.
@@ArdyrezvGod not real. Not the white one y'all keep saying is real
Silly Bears fan, Caleb has always been a bust.
DJ Moore have 1000 yards for the last 3-4 season with Caleb. He’s not going to get nowhere near it. Damn…/
Should have traded the pick and kept Justin Fields.
Probably because we could’ve built up the roster in the short-term. But Justin just isn’t good enough to lead a team far. Old Russell Wilson is better than him. At some point the bears need to find a legit qb.
Bagent is infinitely better than Fields
@@IlluminatiSecretsRevealedLMAO. Keep that false hope alive! But whatever helps you sleep at nite
Yes
if the bears missed on another qb this will set us back many years. would love a competent coach and oc and oline before i totally give up.
I think Caleb is looking like the worst of the 4 rookie first round QB's right now
Goff is still a system qb, 5 picks and Iions still will. Lions success is bcuz Campbell
Yeah one bad game by Goff and yet the Lions still won. Doesn’t change how bad the Bears are. 😂😂
Sure thing, chief. It baffles me how so many people continue to underrate Goff.
Goff is a beast. wtf are you watching?
One bad game and here we go
Regardless of how well CW does over the rest of his career in the NFL, it will never live up to the level of hype he had coming in.
How many times since they Washington game did you hear that he was “special” in that 4th quarter. The copest of copes
@@Ardyrezv A Bears fan told me, that CW might not be able to complete passes during the game, or hit the deep ball but in the 4th quarter he shows up when it matters... I told him he just described Tim Tebow.
@@jackpackage287 😂
Fuck yes! Finally someone who tells it like it is. Subscribed.
Dude, he got sacked 9 times and literally didnt get to his 3rd read once during the game due to the intense rush that was on him.
Thats a breakdown of the line and the coaching staff not knowing what adjustments to make.
No No! It was Justin Field's fault. JF was the entire problem of why the bears didn't win the Super Bowl.
To be fair you can't divorce him from the record of his HC Matt Eberflus before and after he arrived in Chicago. Right?
This isn’t Caleb’s fault he’s not been properly developed and I put that on the coaches. Eberflus is not a good coach because he’s not a leader. This team does not respect or believe in the head coach. There’s nothing Caleb can do to overcome the bad culture so stop blaming him. I 100% blame the coaching for the team’s failures and if you can’t see this your just an ignorant casual fan boy.
Hey, let's talk about Caleb, then proceed to show the Bears on defense 80% of the time.
Interesting to see how much better drake maye looks with a way worse offense around him
Make a new Bryce Young video !
Can u do another Aaron rogers vid for today
After he lost in college and was crying in his mom’s arms. That’s the moment I knew I didn’t want him as a franchise QB.
Bench him and see what Tyson Bagent can do with this pass catching group. You have too much invested to not know. Sit him on the bench.
As a Commanders fan, I was relieved when the Bears drafted Caleb because I wanted Jayden 😂
JUSTIN FIELDS 💯
Another good video Mister Truth. You and Ghost of Judah Tribe are the few in the Bears Community that aren't afraid to say it like it is rather than try to protect their fragile-ego QB. I actually don't think that Caleb's ego is fragile, it's more that they all coddle him like a little baby and afraid that his confidence might get shook. These guys are professionals, they can handle it just look at Bryce Young.
Caleb will never be on Kyler’s level. Forget Mahomes
I predicted he’d be a bust for 1 reason. During his college career had a losing record vs top 25 teams, with pedestrian stats. I’m talking more inceptions than touchdowns.
He’s more Dak than Pat.
Wrong title, the offensive line is completely missing, what else did anyone expect?
When you draft a quarterback who paints his nails pink this is what you get. The guy’s a sissy.
Burrow went to the Super Bowl with the worst oline in the league. Btw he had a 13 qbr against NE. That means they put a lot of those sacks on Caleb lol
Bro have you been watching the games? Despite the amount of top skill players, nobody is getting open
Waiting for this upload lol
Not the QB's fault that there were guys in the backfield inside of 2 seconds all the time!
The Bears have a terrible coaching staff and O-Line is bad
as a Pats fan, calling us an “average” defense is generous lmao.
Is Field of Hopes and Dreams as the background OST supposed to symbolize Caleb's waning time as a starter?!?! Regardless awesome track
Gotta upload more about Bryce "Little Dwarf" Young
Generational Talent: Reference Dan Marino.
Runt: Reference Caleb Williams
I was saying,,,,, keep fields and let Caleb sit and learn, for a couple years, with a legitimate OC of course🤯🤯
The number 1 QB has now been beaten by the number 2 and 3 QBs this year.
This channel is cheeks bro
Anyone who watched his last year at USC knew he cant throw in the pocket and his only skillset was avoiding defenders that wouldnt get in the NFL if each roster had 150 spots
The patriots do have a shutdown corner so climb down from your shite horse
B s. Patriots are HORRIBLE. 😂
Not watching another Bears game unless they put in Bagent! Bagent is 10 times the QB Galeb is! Big Bears fan but i am done. Especially when they have a good QB just wasting away on the sidelines
But watching Care Bear Caleb fail is GENERATIONAL HILARIOUS.😂😂
Damn that's what it's come to in Chicago??? That's rough bro.. gotta see what Caleb has if anything... Go birds
Caleb is still a rookie playing the hardest position in the NFL. Give him time to develop. Everyone is not gonna be Jayden Daniels in year one
When did we start expecting rookie qbs to play well from the first game? Did Herbert do this to the game? Mahomes sat his first year.
Are you aware of this guy name Jayden Daniels who was taken with the 2nd pick?
Who are we gonna ruin next??
You sound like a dork but enjoy the Caleb Williams hate
Bears picked the wrong guy….again. Now they get to watch JD5 dominate the NFC for the next decade while wondering what could’ve been.
As a Bears fan. This, THIS is what I've trained to expect.
Caleb is not the problem ,the line is not giving him any protection ,we got players not catching the ball coaches are fucking trash it was the same thing with fields everyone said he was trash .BUT HE WASNT .he left Chicago him game went up
RYAN POLES MUST LOSE HIS JOB for declining a generational draft haul, trading Justin Fields and DRAFTING A QUARTERBACK HE DIDN'T NEED.
The 4th best Quarterback in the 2024 draft - without McCarthy & Pennix being in the mix.
RYAN POLES MUST GO along with Eberflus and Caleb can go after the season!
Then the Bears should sign Justin Fields in Free Agency!
