Thanks for sharing. I wasn’t aware of such a lowering kit. You mentioned that with the kit installed you find yourself leaning against the tank. Is this uncomfortable? Any other ‘downside’ to having the kit installed?
You are welcome. There is no downside and a year later I am still happy with it. The lean is not much so you get used to it over time. Overall a great kit for the price.
Hi Mate. With this lowering sit kit you have what is now the total seat height? I don’t felt confortable when too much tip toeing. Especially when the road is leaning in a peculiar angle.
Hi, With this lowering kit its about 2 cms difference not much. You are also more leaning on the tank. I tried the lower seat and that works great so I am planning to order one from Sargent seats with integrated heat.

This is a great solution. Same comfy seat and you’re not messing with suspension!
Yes, it feels great. took it for a ride and feels different.
You can buy a low seat or shave the standard seat cushion by 20 mm so that the total reduction will be 30 mm

Why don’t you just grind down the top of the OEM bushings?
For $65 I didn't want to take a risk and grind the OEM bushings as they are more expensive to replace.

Does the seat feel even or balanced still....or does the new angle feel like you are sliding forward?
It does seem balanced about 80% I would say. There is about 20% sliding forward feel that I get.

Yes maybe that and the lowered version of GS.
Do you have the factory lowered GSA?
No I don't... I was given the option to take that but when I test rode the standard one I felt it was good for me.
