Sorry, but I find this is misleading. St. Padre Pio died on September 23, 1968--34 years before the "Luminous Mysteries" appeared. Pope John Paul II only issued the prayers of the Luminous Mysteries in his apostolic letter "Rosarium Virginis Mariae" on October 16, 2002.
