you cannot put into words what an outstanding player robson was he would get in any team in any era.
Yep, his loss at the group stage of the 1990 world Cup was a disaster for England...
He obviously fell out with Keane which explains his omission, but it was very surprising that Ferguson did not include Robson in his list of world class players. He was surely world class, a big game player and a very attacking player in his day too.
If you ask Man Utd fans who their best ever player was, I think Robbo would come second only to Best.

That was the sad thing about Keane joining. It meant the end for Bryan. But he was 36 at the time.

That is nonsense. Ferguson's team was just about perfect when Eric arrived. He was the cherry on top of a really nice cake. They lost out on the league the year before and pushed it right to the wire.
